Lemonade is a GREAT album with some exceptional songs on there.

I often wonder if you can ever consume that album without the central focus being Jay-Z. It's really hard to seperate the context of Jay throughout this whole album as it is emotionally tied and anchored to the infidelity and other issues of their marriage.

I also think that the visuals play a huge role in bringing across the full message of this album and its hard to consume the body of work from the audio perspective alone.

Looking at Columbia's playbook for big stars (Harry, Adele, Bey etc) and Bey's previous rollouts, there's often a 6-8 week rollout from announcement to release, with a little deliberate teasing before that frame and the lead single right at the start.

It's been exactly this method for both Rennie and CC.

She's confirmed to be tipping out for the Met Gala in May. It is highly unlikely she's doing it "just because". So, a March announcement + single drop for a May/June release feels logical.

There's also a scenario where it's a little later and the Met Gala is the start of the campaign and thus a late June/July drop for the album is on the cards.

When do we think her Columbia labelmate Solange is dropping? I definitely think she's gearing up for a musical return as well. (Not sure if other marquee Columbia artist Tyler the Creator has been inspired to make new music so quickly, and he might be on Frank Ocean's rumored upcoming project, so he might not be dropping an album in 2026. )

Definitely think she's in the second half of the year if she drops, right now her vibe seems to be first stages of building anticipation

I always wanted someone to do a weekly song release leading to the whole album. I'm surprised hunchback hasn't chased that. But anyways, It would be ideal on a 10-12 album track and if the songs are all 10/10. It would also be such a cunty move and easier to manipulate the charts.

That's the thing. I have no idea lol. Part of me wants her to incorporate some immersive technology into her outfit, but then the other half wants something that's more reserved (for lack of a better word) but still stunning.

I'm also somewhat assuming that her outfit would be influenced by Act III by that point, but who knows.

We shouldnt build up this event too much. At the end of the day, its best to expect whats realistic:

2 weeks of overload input (lead single, album title reveal + cover, fashion magazine, maybe a written interview, song titles reveal).

Then 2 weeks of excitement during album release (new songs, loads of think pieces, etc).
