4 is just a classic album - a collection of songs with regular song structures

it doesn't require as much attention from the listener

which is why I think it's popular with GP and is easy to get through in one sitting

RENAISSANCE and 4 are my most-played Beyoncé albums this year so far. there's definitely a certain replayability to 4 and it's perfect for just going on a walk.

It's actually lining up to be this (hopefully).

Looking at Columbia's playbook for big stars (Harry, Adele, Bey etc) and Bey's previous rollouts, there's often a 6-8 week rollout from announcement to release, with a little deliberate teasing before that frame and the lead single right at the start.

It's been exactly this method for both Rennie and CC.

She's confirmed to be tipping out for the Met Gala in May. It is highly unlikely she's doing it "just because". So, a March announcement + single drop for a May/June release feels logical.

There's also a scenario where it's a little later and the Met Gala is the start of the campaign and thus a late June/July drop for the album is on the cards.
