I kinda agree with you, but by that logic, she should only be going all out on her iconic choreo like Single Ladies, CIL, Baby Boy, Formation - we shouldn't be expecting her to do something heavy for Cuff It because it's not something known for choreo at this point. And the lipping and not dancing - we've seen Mariah and Celine stand still and lip a song too. It really is about showmanship - nobody wants to potentially **** up, especially the women known for having immaculate voices. Nobody cares if Ciara or Janet or Britney lip because they are known for choreo, not vocals, but Beyonce is known for both and given we've seen her actually sing live and hit the 1 and the 2 in her youth, that Virgo perfectionism is kicking her ass now. I'll never be mad at her for it. I just hope she heals enough to feel comfortable doing more.
