Yeah lowkey ST is the worst album to try and do live renditions of. DiL only just recently became pretty good post Beychella and now thanks to the Dubai run, Partition worked well, Flawless had great choreo and energy thanks to Bow Down, and Mine surprisingly translated well live with the FWT.

The rest of the songs minus Grown Woman she kinda just stands or walks around singing, which is fine but for a song as great as Haunted I feel like she could have done so much more. I wish she did even more performances with the holograms post Lemonade I'm sure the technology now is even better, probably could elevate a song like Haunted, or even No Angel or Superpower like a nice set piece akin to the Love Drought Grammy performance

Saw the theory that Act III will be like a live show (same way Renny was a DJ set and CC radio). And it makes so much sense. "The revolution will be live."

yea… lemonade DOES translate well live. Formation, Freedom, Daddy Lessons, DHYS.. hello?! ST is my favorite Beyoncé album, but I can admit that it doesn't translate all that well by comparison. It's more mellow. IASF and B'Day are low key her best albums performed live imo. If it wasn't B'Day, then it was def the IAWT that cemented her status as one of the greatest performers alive.

EITHR WAY, act 3 as a rock album would ultimately be her best live set. We don't even have to hear the music yet, she's just a rock star by default.

American Requiem being recorded late or shortly before the CC release ( if my info isnt wrong ) and YA YA added last minute kind of makes me think they were part of the process or at least maybe thought for ACT 3 ( and the most country fitting ) in a way and maybe based on that we can sonically have a little clue...

I could never get this point, which seems to be quite the popular opinion among the Hive. I absolutely love the ST performances. Much prefer the 2014 renditions of DIL to how she does it now, seeing her do the chair dance for Partition was jaw dropping, and not you forgetting her absolute best tour performance to this day:

The only one I agree was rather underwhelming was Haunted. She could've cooked that one a bit more.
