Britney posts bizarre video about baking bread

Pretty much sums up of your view of her as a person and as artist, which reinforces my point that your take is coming from the perspective of someone who doesn't like her to begin with, so what's the point in chiming in? Even if she was doing well, you still wouldn't say anything positive about her.

I would give her some praise if the effort was there. She had a great opportunity to come back after being free, with a solid story to express through music her struggles and what she has been through on her own terms which would have been brilliant and could call herself an artist… yet… only blurry dance videos in a dirty house and an ugly wig.

Its sad what she went through but not having any agency and dedication later in life. I cannot respect that. She has a ton of resources and support if she were to seek them… she can call Madonna, Beyonce, any producer or agent…yet nothing. She's willingly deciding to waste her life in a house, basically a self imposed prison.

It is so sad seeing her like this :dancehall: I hope she gets the help that she clearly needs.

PLEASE someone help her! There has to be someone close to her that can and that wishes her well.

"I hope Britney gets help" is the ATRL version of "thoughts and prayers." It's meaningless and empty. The people saying it never actually cared to begin with. She's not hurting anybody (or even herself). She's damaged and crazy. Crazy people are allowed to be left alone and in peace so long as they aren't hurting themselves or others.

The switch up from free Britany to she needs help I'm scared is mind boggling and should be studied.

She's obviously very mentally ill. This makes no sense.

The dramatics in here and on tiktok :deadbanana4:

She's been like this since the c-chip ended and i don't see anything wrong with it. Is she a little cooky? Ofc but everyone would be after the trauma she had to live through. She's just living her life

Watching this interview after seeing that clip. She was such a sweetheart and had so much personality. And attractive too.

I don't know what to say about Brit these days. I'll always love her. I like bread too.:biblio:

Is it weird that im getting supetnatural vibes from this video? :coffee:

Also, i dont know what to think / say anymore about her situation. But it feels like a literal train crashing against a wall in super slowmotion. I really hope one pure human/friend steps into her life soon.

There's millions of eccentric mentally ill people posting odd content online all day. It's not helping anyone by gawking at her just because of it.

I legit thought the same thing when I saw it.

Before they stuck her in that institution against her will she wasn't like this.

There's some very normal interviews from the Glory era.

The lithium probably made her like this. So basically… What Wendy said.

I honestly haven't seen her ig in a while, I muted her because her videos just got too weird

I'm still a stan and will always be, but this is too heartbreaking to watch, I feel like after the abuse she lived in the C-Ship she just couldn't handle freedom anymore or forgot how to live and her mind is off the rails .

Yeah she is not harming anyone, but she is harming herself, she clearly needs therapy and heavy medication for her trauma and condition

I feel like she desperately needs help and no one will come to help her, she is so isolated

And we are gonna watch her decline more and more unless something extraordinary helps

People need to stop pretending she's ok tho, she's not okay

I used to be one of the loudest voices for #FreeBritney.

I truly believed she was being held against her will and stripped of her autonomy. And while her conservatorship was undeniably exploitative (forcing her to work while controlling every aspect of her life), I think it's time we acknowledge something harder to admit: Britney is very, very unwell.

Her recent video making bread is heartbreaking. It's not just "quirky" or "eccentric" anymore, it's disturbing. She clearly suffers from a severe mental illness, and every day I genuinely worry I'll wake up to the worst possible news.

It's obvious she's completely isolated, with no real support system, and what we're watching looks like a spiral. Whether it's untreated psychosis, worsened by possible substance use, or another serious condition, she is a danger to herself.

We didn't have the whole story back then. Freeing Britney from the conservatorship seemed necessary, but simply ending it without providing her with the right medical and emotional care left her exposed. She needs help, not just "freedom" in name only. And it's painful to say this as someone who wanted nothing but liberation for her.

it's really sad that this is what she decided to do with her life post-C-ship. It's annoying that her last single is a left over release from an album she didn't even bother to sing

I say this as someone who respects her immensely and views her as one of the most pop culture figures in history. It makes me very sad to see her current state and that she is sharing it so publicly. I hope the people in her life, whoever they may be now, have her best interests at heart and are taking care of her.  I worry she is super vulnerable and it concerns me that no one in her personal life seems to stop her from sharing these concerning videos online.

People were saying this back in 2007 too and then she got put into an abusive conservatorship.

So what kind of help are you suggesting?

I'm not asking this in a disparaging way, but ppl on here keep saying "she's not okay! She needs help!" But this was exactly what justified her conservatorship the first time around which ended up doing her more harm in the long run.

On other hand now that she is free, people are saying she needs help because of her bizarre behavior.

So who or what exactly can step in? Is she supposed to live life taken care of by the system by someone else for the rest of her life?

This is something I grapple with when I think of Britney's situation and it just seems she can't win either way, but also it's not even up to anyone but herself. She's a free person now, she needs to learn to help herself.

Hmm. This might be true. White people are just a little weird.

It's bizarre because... she is twirling as in 100% of her videos ? lol I mean her videos are all like this one, I don't get why it needs a thread

All of this is quite frankly ridiculous. You know absolutely NOTHING about her mental state.

Normally a family member or partner takes care of people who are struggling like her

I agree she doesn't have options since everyone around her have been exposed as complete trash

There is obviously nothing anyone can do

She is free yes, but she also needs help.

We just can't do anything and it's heartbreaking

Love ha but I will never understand the hair extensions. Why does she never grow her hair out? Or just rock it short?

You can tell she's unwell if she posts videos like this. There's no self-awareness. She has no idea how these videos make her look. It's painful to watch nobody help her. Like, are these videos a cry for help? How can a fellow celebrity see these and not reach out?

The most concerning thing in this thread is the amount of people expecting "celebrity" friends to help her??! The absolute fanfictions people live in. Those are not het FRIENDS. Do people know what a friend is?!

Those celebrities literally have their own lives, own friends and own relatives. They have no business infringing on hers. Doesn't she have friends in her life?

Sad state of affairs.

I think she's got what she wanted so it's up to us to just accept it and let her be.
