No actually it was pretty good, surprised that she could make a comeback considering this one flopped. TEOM is better but not radically far away from this album. People that bought this album turned in for the next era I guess.

She needs less expensive videos too, WAP was a thing of it's time, AND especially these day music videos are not very important. The song is listenable, I don't know if it will turn into success. Katy has had much better songs than Roar (HIH) but ever since her star doom faded quality did not matter much.

Sales are frontloaded. If it is being carried by streams, that's a potential for longevity.

I am surprised by the "indifference" in the comments so far. This song is amazing to me, if anything a highlight in her whole career. I love calming music.

It is no nowhere near the genius that Confession (1) was, it did not have the "Artpop YUCK!" but it was just meh.

Drake is literally out streaming her in both AM and Spotify with less efforts and gimmicks. She only has mass buyers. Can you imagine Bad Bunny being competition for MJ or The Beatles? This shows that the 'streaming units' are a completely different story from what was in the past.
