It' unreal how racism has suddenly boomed and became "cool" right around the time that Nazi was elected. Not that racism has ever gone out of style but it just became normalised and direct. There needs to be tougher consequences for those that are racist. Immigrants are quite literally assisting the western economy. It is the year 2026 and they have revived racism. I hope to god i live the day where it will be celebrated and promoted to be racist against white people the way it is normalised to be so terrible to anyone from a different culture.

Streamed alot of Baby one more time album this year, Then started listening to in the zone , Blackout and then some of Oops. Listened to Genie in a bottle a couple of times. And fighter as well.

Idk about that. I have a couple of nieces and they are OBSESSED with them. They're very very popular amongst younger teenage girls i noticed. I literally know every single release because of how much my nieces want to hear their songs in my car. I've seen all of their videos unwillingly too lol also I know that one of them has left? Because my nieces were devastated.

God i really really hope so. Im obsessed with the album. One of the best pop albums I've heard recently. But it might be a reach to be hopeful now. The public and the stans have ruined everything

On a side note im obsessed with the album. Her best to date imo. Very relevant to her current situation too. Never really connected to an Ariana album more than this one before. Obsessed with Petal. And I really hope her label manages to push for Like i do and Bad thing as singles.

The album is amazing and it is hitting even harder now considering what she's going through. I know I said it earlier that this is her blackout and I meant it as in hard hitting, personal and dark album. But it really IS her blackout in terms of the era too. She has released some seriously incredible material that is personal, deep and experimental. Yet she' getting mixed reactions and criticism for that. And then add the body shaming , the fake outrage and the fans that have actually genuine concern. It's ALOT to handle. Did I feel a little uneasy watching the MV for Petal? Yes, but it NOT just for appearance reasons. The whole MV is dark altogether. The song is amazing and also quite dark/ angry. But alot of the "concern" is coming from literal haters which is terrible. It must be hard on her. I really hope she takes a break on her own terms. And I really hope this doesn't get in the way of releasing some amazing singles and videos ( although I dont see her releasing videos at all now) . But it sucks. Because she' sitting on some major bangers. I dont think we learnt anything from how we treated Britney , Taylor .... history just repeats itself.

Stripped. Although BSB was pretty successful and had a great run. I wouldn't really call it a "cultural impact on pop" since no one followed that type of pop sound.
