My pick is either the OG 1978 and/or 1979. They really ruined it and made it ugly in a span of 5 years.

The OG already included everyone so all the additives are so unnecessary. Discuss, sisters.

1979 is a classic and the one I use. Nothing against the more recent ones tho. I get the reasoning behind them.

1979. It's simple, to the point, and the idea already was inclusive to everyone. It's iconic.   Does it really matter? Not really. I enjoy the flag in all iterations and what it represents f

Does it really matter? Not really. I enjoy the flag in all iterations and what it represents for all of us though

1979 is the most acceptable one. The rainbow is supposed to reflect the entire color palate so every single color is included even if you only see those six. The other colors don't have to be visible to count.

1979 is the best imo, but I'm not against the new ones either. all of them are ok to use

I kinda like the 2017 one. I'm kinda used to the 2018 one now but the 2021 just doesn't work for me aesthetically.

I've never liked the full rainbow, it's so ugly and tacky, even more so on clothing :pukey:

At least the progressive flag let's me know where you stand

I know it's a hot take, but 2018 will always be my fav :heart2: I think the progress pride flag is sick as all f*ck! it's just really cool looking imo

1979 is iconic, 1978 is cvnty and quirky, the others are ugly and unnecessary since the rainbow is already supposed to include everyone.

They are all awful tbh. Hate them so much, it's too much color.

Either 18 or 21. Flags are a made up concept anyway, so if people are going to feel more included, they can keep adding things.

But yes the previous versions look prettier.

79 is the original, everything else is a variation.

18 is the best variant.

I like them in order of release. The last one is heinous.

I feel like people should just use the one that represents them best, I don't have any feelings towards any of the recent upgrades. Being upset about the pride flag having too many colours is like yelling at a cloud

The first one was already all inclusive. It was the communities that excluded people from things.

that is why it is changing to represent more and more people

1979 is the better one for sure, as it was designed to be the most inclusive you can get. Imo the recent versions are going in the wrong direction, putting people back in boxes when the primary goal has always been to treat every human the same way.

The acronym kinda shares the same problem, as I hate the idea of enumerating the whole spectrum of gender and sexual identities, even though in this case the original "LGBT" is worse, as it was exclusive. However, rather than complexifying it, or writing it in a way that prioritise some identities and minimise others (included only in a "+"), we should abandon it and use a new, more generic but inclusive one.

I like the 2018 and 2021 versions the most.

The 1979 feels a little bit tacky to me

The old 1979 one. Thats the point of it. Multiple colors = diversity of all types
The news ones are adding too many things and it looks like over clustered.
So whats the point of the original rainbow then?

But yes everyone should use the one they like the most. As long as theyre happy

The gays been mean to me lately so im wearing this one to the next pride
