I feel like her 40s will be another imperial era for her as she leans more into acting and soundtracks etc and fully ditches the rah rah grah ba bahs. Lbr, while Abracadabra was a hit, it wasn't a mega smash and if that wasn't enough to do it I don't see what else will from that realm. She just needs to fully commit to one or the other instead of trying to please both the liddos and the gp who want completely different things from her.

It would be one thing if her ramblings (bc calling that activism is a stretch ) are performative or well.. an act. She's not the first nor will be the last to do sth similar in order to stand out. But I have a feeling she genuinely believes these things and that in her head she's some sort of rebel, not realizing that her background completely invalidates what she says. You don't get to use all the resources available in the world to get a leg up in the industry and then act like you're above it. That's crazy

If an old song smashes it's usually attached to a braindead tiktok challenge, the smashery is kind of a side effect if that makes sense and isn't necessarily beneficial in the long term. At least a current collab builds momentum you can capitalize on to boost your career, like adding it to your album and calling it "the missing piece"
