Majority of the algorithms are perfectly formulated to curate and push this right-winged content, while the biggest social media currently (TikTok) is full steam ahead at not doing anything about it. They're even praising the current U.S. Presidential administration for "saving" them. Even if the world gets leftward Presidental candidates in the upcoming few years, the damage is done for multiple generations.
