The top 4 all being female country/country-ish songs is gaggy. Just a few years ago there were no females in the top 10 at all at some point and country was nowhere to be seen. I don't know if that's sufficient evidence of country being the top genre right now though. It just so happened that the new it girl is a country artist and the most popular artist in the world released a country-adjacent song. It'd be a different story if it was 4 different country artists but in reality it's just one + literally the biggest popstar on the planet.
