I'm liking everything so far, sure maybe there's no standout track that goes top10 in her discography automatically but it's a great listen and a little bit seasoned with her previous albums if that makes sense. Like there's bits where some songs sound like previous records but not in a bad way, in a full picture kind of way. Like a protrait showing different aspects of her? idk how to explain it

The way I keep listening to this in full at least once a day should be studied. I was really starved for new M it seems. I honestly feel like a teenager discovering her again. I take little detours on the adjacent albums to CII and if you think about it her entire discography is truly THE pop canon. Everything is intertwined and webbed together to paint a full picture of who she is, as a person and an artist. Maybe it's all the discourse about her age and her peers all being gone that's made me look to the bigger picture or that I myself am also older and seeing things differently than back when I was just a kid. It is an outstanding legacy she's built. The greatest to ever do it. We'll probably never see the likes of her again.

Wosh she had kept Suena la Alarma and Deja Vu Spanglish at the end fpr the sake of completition but I'll live. The vinyl is so tempting ngl Im this close to buying
