if the buildup part to current affair's final chorus was 30 seconds longer i'd probably cream my pants every listen….im already obsessed as it is 

 

Will never not hate how abruptly the sound cuts off in the last 2 seconds of every single song. Like what was she thinking / how did she miss that in the final full-album listen

 

It's one of my biggest pet peeves in music, but normally it's just like a song here or there. Not the entire album, like Virgin!

I can't really rank the album. All the songs are consistently great

No singles making the top 50 in Australia this week, however.

 

This album gets better everyday, something shifted today and even GRWM became enjoyable 

WWT is still the best song on the album.

 

The way it captures the urgency, the confusion, the anger, the frustration

 

We love a LEAD single

The album getting better and better. Broken Glass about to dethrone Shapeshifter for me

still AOTY. it will be super hard for someone to top it (or her). 

I finally listened to the album in full and... this might be AOTY

 

 

Hammer, Current Affairs and GRWM are just HEAVENLY. And the album is full of fun songs like Shapeshifter and omg BROKEN GLASS 

 

I think this might be my favorite album of hers. Melodrama is great but I never loved that middle section. This one though is a complete realized work from top to bottom. She really snapped, I'm floored

Since she mentioned a "couple really good b sides knocking around" could we get a deluxe?? Perhaps an EP with the b-sides for RSD in November? Lorde, let's get into it. 

While I can appreciate the album for what it is, I must admit that it's not really working for me right now.

 

I'm sure I'll come around to it though, at the latest it'll be after seeing her live again.
