I continue to be floored by this album.

 

I took a few days off from listening to it, and on return, wow...it hits like a timeless classic.

Shapeshifter Is really SOTY for me. 

i feel like if critics had wait to review the album, it would prob end up with a +90 score. it's so good. it keeps getting richer with each listening. 

Not a single skip. I'm loving the album even more after watching her full Glastonbury set

There would probably be recycled production from another Jack Antonoff produced project and there would be allegations of plagiarism.

If she was THE producer of Solar Power, she was also THE producer of Melodrama, since she is the only person with production credits on every song.

I'm not sure how much the numbers mean at this stage, because there are a lot of Shapeshifter videos tagged "original sound".

Shapeshifter is heartbreaking to me. It's like a rumination of a pattern of recklessness and kind of reckoning with the fact that either a) it's gotta end or b) keep going with it and being 'not affected' by 'it' until you become desensitised to everything. 
 

She just has a way with words.
