So High School is definitely my favorite Travis song. I enjoy the production and the melodic composition of The Alchemy, but found the actual lyrics to be a bit of a miss for me. I'm kind of shocked and appalled its being used as an indicator that she writes well when it comes to Travis. So High School and The Fate of Ophelia are right there.

There hasn't been a year since Taylor had debuted that was void of misogyny (this is something that will be always pointed out like half century from now on as a reason why it had been easier to trash her; she is epitome of fluffy pink girl and it is deemed as inferior despite being actually musically gifted) and upward jealousy as time and her success kept unfolding and growing.

Nothing that is happening on online platform now is new. Like pointed out, we are all just more internet networked now.

It is insane to think that ten years ago she was equally omnipresent music figure. And in the mean time, no shade intended, but all her former peers and other musical acts have simply lost ability to generate substantial hype hence all this frustration.

That being said, she ripped her prowess on Patient Zero and Pink Clouding.

the lyrics are a miss just like basically every travis love song ever, but at least the production, melodies and vocals are on point. i'm sorry but 'you know how to ball i know aristotle' might be one of my fave lyrics from TTPD lmao like that's actually clever while unserious. the cupcake swifties will scream "yall hate fun!!" when when people dislike tragedies like cleveland and wood, meanwhile so high school is a perfect example is how you can do fun with corny lyrics and execute it well

Well, I do hate fun. I primarily listen to midwest emo music and songs that illicit some sense of emotional resonance in it. Taylor's glitter gel pen songs are among my absolute least favorite in her discography. I absolutely loathe them.

Patient #1 is such an earworm. A welcome return to the confessional sophisti-pop soundscape of Godnights.

Patient Zero is actually starting to sound like a SMASH! If the video is as good as it looks (and the length of the song) we may have another big fat hit on our hands.

Also, Ophelia's performance is really next level. The way people would be GAGGING if any other artist did this twenty years into their career, but it's just another notch in the belt for Taylor .

If she gets number 1 on IFPI I'm posting hole.

idk why but "patient zero" is really hitting different today. i've seen discourse around the bridge and some fans even wanting her to completely edit it out of the song but that's one of my favorite parts.

I just wish the bridge was done differently. The lyrics are great, but her cadence is unpleasant at times. However you’re rewarded with an incredible last chorus and an addicting Outro

the first part is a little awkward but i love the part i quoted where she begins to sing the lyrics more. i just think the first part sounds slightly off beat from the instrumental almost as if it's a fan made mash up lol. but she nails the second part and the final chorus.

i need a live performance of that + "cleveland!" asap!
