MDNA suffered because her attention was divided and she was probably contractually obliged to put out an album at that time. None of this will apply with COADF2. She just needs to lay off the autotune...

This. I've been really harsh on Madame X, but I can admit that there are some good songs on there that simply got ruined by that constant vocoder effect.

But I do agree that she seems to be doing this as a way to appease fans. The question really is... will this work. Because revisiting producers did not help MDNA or Madame X. She needs to find that creative spark. That being said, given all she's been through between her brothers both passing away and her own near-death experience, plus a second Trump administration... I think she's hungry.

Back in the day she wasn't overthinking and overcooking her albums. She was confident enough in her work and she knew what she was doing.

 

Now she listens to her kids, yes men, trends, social media and it obviously influences her. If only she would listen for the right reasons, like to stop recording music with grills, have properly mastered vocals on music... Like are we asking too much? 

I hope she won't collaborate with any female artist.
