I would argue Rebel Heart was a bit ahead of its time and anticipated a few trends. She worked with Diplo before he had that explosion of popularity in 2015 with Major Lazer and Jack U. She was the first mainstream artist to work with BloodPop and SOPHIE on that album as well ("***** I'm Madonna" is also arguably the first mainstream hyperpop single, even before Charli lol). And she also incorporated dancehall before the genre had a huge revival in late 2015/early 2016. The era was just spectacularly messy and didn't quite land.

Rebel Heart was ahead of its time with '***** I'm Madonna'

if there's any collabs on this PLEASEEE let it be thee Kylie collab we've been asking for :jonny3:

To fit the dance confessions theme Kylie and Dua would suit best, if there is a rapper I hope it's Doechii

I would like a legendary Gaga duet on a song like Hung up

this, and Rihanna too if she decided to get into studio, but that's it, no Z listers or men please

No grillz, no rappers and no collabs with any big female artists please as she'll be accused of being desperate.

she will be accused of anything online, so let's get the Kylie collab we deserve

I just hope she took the grills out of her mouth when she recorded cause I really dont want another song with lisps voice like she had a bad fitting denture

Thats sooooo true...

Glad she finally came to her senses and went back to Stuart Price. Confessions is a timeless masterpiece.

I hope she also reboots The Confessions Tour. I want to see that discoball opening again.

It's funny though, how some people are mocking her for "reheating her nachos". I want to see your fave "reheat" a 10 million selling era and a record breaking tour released at 48 :deadbanana4: not a single pop girl is close to that status.

No S.E.X slander here mister!

Rebel Heart - the initial dance demo - is one of the best things she's ever done. That is, it could've ended up being that, had they made some minor tweaks. Hell, even that watered down, half-arsed version that eventually got released (on a deluxe :deadvision:!!!) is still one of the defining songs of her career. Lyrically and melody-wise it's a quintessentially "Madonna song." (Let's hope she realises this and gives it to us in the near future. Perhaps à la Back That Up to the Beat.)

That album had so much potential only to end up a mid, at best, release. They've somehow managed to ruin almost every single song that eventually ended up on that album: Rebel Heart, Messiah, Living for Love, (Make the) Devil Pray, Wash All Over Me, Inside Out...

She didn't. You can see her wearing them in those videos from studio

It's so annoying when artists try to replicate what worked in the past.

Nostalgia is not always nice.

they fail to do so. I'd be thrilled for this to be something but I don't see it.

the only demo i preferred over the album versions was Rebel Heart acoustic.  Especially Joan of Ark and Wash All Over Me.  She made the right decisions, imo.  Just a bloated album.

I want a 100% copy-style of it, nothing 2025 influential about it. Especially the background music. I am looking forward it.

I really hope this is just a codename and it's not a literal sequel. I want her exploring new sounds with Price.

i'm waiting but i'm also afraid she's setting her up with this whole Confessions Part 2. Will see.
