MILEY - "Bass Persuades"
Being objective, if the song isn't working it's because… it's just not good. It sounds too cliché and forced, like those pop songs from Victorious/HM when the girl is making her debut as a pop diva. I still keep thinking why EOTW wasn't a hit lmao, which actually is a good generic pop song that sticks in your head.

Dua Lipa - "Training Season"
Even if the og version doesn't go back into the top 10 on Spotify, I think it already did more than I expected lol (#2 combined btw) I really thought the revival would just be a cute re-entry into the top 200 and stay in the bottom of the chart for a couple weeks, not that even the live version would chart lmao The cherry on top will be that #2 on the Global 200, hope it's real
- Ravyn Lenae's "Love Me Not" outpeaks at #7 on Global Spotify at Day 541. Shook?

Bad Bunny: what's next?
Bad Bunny is a Zillennial who's chronically online, and his team is too. They know the trends, what people are thinking and how to generate conversation. None of the things he's done are by accident, everything is meticulously planned because his team (and he) are marketing geniuses. That's why I know they'll figure out the formula for his next move… But personally I think the best thing is for him to take a break. The Latin music industry is DEAD. The urban genre has been dying for years and it's because the three biggest markets in Latin America now only consume their own music (Mexico with regional, Brazil with funk/sertanejo and Argentina with cumbia villera). Karol got really lucky with Bby Wow, but like I said, it was luck.

Dua Lipa vs. Christina Aguilera: bigger popularity peak?
I think calling "faceless" in BIG 2026 to an artist that can sell out stadiums across 4/5 continents and is one of the biggest global faces in the pop industry just shows denial or that you only consume whatever's inside your own bubble. OP. Nobody's saying Christina didn't have cultural impact, but her impact was pretty much limited to those "shocking" TV moments. She doesn't have a big era or album that actually made a real impact on the music. Something that even Dua have with fewer years in the game. When it comes to popularity, I'm not sure what's more important for a MUSICAL ACT: global sales and demand, or how many times they were on TMZ or were the most talked about thing on MTV. If it's the second one? Then Christina wins.
