!!!! I've said this before. Her fans' slavish devotion to her is a double edged sword. On one hand they keep getting the bragging rights of her mega success, on the other hand she just doesn't need to put any effort into her music anymore, so they end up with these repeated dubs that they have to pretend to enjoy. They just buy her music before even hearing a second of it. Who wouldn't want free low-effort millions like that while on paper edging towards becoming the most successful chart artist of all time? She's happy to keep this safe formula going while she continues enjoying the success. Why experiment or try to improve if it might backfire?

Ok I gave the Encore 4 careful listens. The only thing I enjoyed was the vocal styling/melody on Babylon which was very Evermore. The other 3 songs were insufferable and super cringe melodically, lyrically and also production-wise. I won't ever be returning to any of these songs again unfortunately.

The concept of her relocating to a different country and making a world music album, ala Madame X.. (which would still be a considerable improvement over this mess)

I'm on Patient Zero right now and it sounds like it would fit perfectly on Lover. She's been re-releasing Lover since 2019. I said it last year and everyone was so angry at me. One day you'll all hear it too. She changed the album covers and era colours but the sound of Lover lingered through all these years
