  1. These threads prove it's never about the music for some people. Letting your tastes be decided by numeric value is embarrassingly shallow.
  2. DMF is not real, and he can't hurt you.
  3. Literally everything went right, what?
  4. This. I don't know how at the forefront of people's mind the song is, but it's recognizable and sounded like nothing else on the radio at the time.
  5. I don't think it matters. Katy's collabs are some of her best songs.
  6. She really ruined her career and already questionable reputation. ...and we still don't actually know for what, because she's still serving up broke behavior.
  7. Toxic > Dirrty > Every Time >>>> Beautiful
  8. I hate Nicki (and Kanye), but I can admit she left everybody else in the dust on Monster. Katy Perry on Feels as well.
  9. SAVE Love Without Words Bring Your Love Love Sensation OFF Betrayal Everything Bizarre
  10. Women's voices generally turn me off in the bedroom. I've had some fun to Janet, though. School has the dirtiest beat, so I'll go with that one.
  11. Makes sense. Madonna barely did anything, and Justin brought the mood down. Shakira's performance fit the vibe the best.
  12. Springsteen's post-Rising career is insanely good.
  13. At least Madonna and Shakira are avoiding the worst of the backlash. Madonna was lucky she went first. Her pre-recorded segment set the tone; it was the rest of the show that utterly failed to match it.
  14. Aside from Tug of War, I have all of her albums, including all the Side Bs. And while she definitely does have some songs that stray outside of the topic, you have to admit that the vast majority is about unrequited love or puppy love. She's amazing at it. I guess I'm just looking for more Western Winds-type stuff out of her in the future; we have enough Fake Mona Lisas at this point. I think now that she's married, she's gonna shake things up a little bit. At the very least, her marriage and her becoming a mother are going to add a whole new dimension to her words.
  15. This is why it should have been a finale performance with just Shakira. She had the most global appeal out of all the acts there, and she has the kind of vibes that make sense for a FIFA event.
  16. My only issue with this queen is that she could stand to have more variety in her lyrics. Unrequited love is a great topic, but it's not the only one out there, and she rarely strays away from it.
  17. To be fair, this isn't fully on the fact that it's the finale is in the US. Chris Martin is British, and I believe he was the one to bring the idea to FIFA. They should have had hired Harriet Cuddeford, who did Bad Bunny's show. Or just done a finale show. Honestly, thank God.
  18. Harm. Plus the bad press of the space flight.
