But in the larger scheme of things, and yes I do mean scheme, it is quite apparent how all the Capitol artists are getting shafted since the Capitol/Interscope merger whereas the Interscope artists are all still getting the big pushes. Even more interesting when you consider John Janick has spread rape rumours about one of the big Capitol artists when talking to one of the big Interscope artists

Both of those were sent to radio after going viral, TOTGA hasn't been sent and has minimal playlisting. Capitol is absolutely useless. I can somewhat understand why in TOTGA's case cuz it was already a hit in 2011, but they didn't do anything for Legendary Lovers either which is an album track doing about 1M daily streams. Like how do you as label not do anything with that? Esp when her new music gets no push from them, you'd think they'd jump on a relatively unknown song getting such a huge headstart thanks to tiktok

I agree with this. In interviews she often mentioned how passive she is as a person, it's why I related so much to her I think, and that makes the theory of her always molding herself into something befitting her partner very plausible imo.
