I agree, COADF definitely has higher highs than the sequel, but the second half of the album is quite weak compared to the first half. Push, Let It Will Be, and Like It or Not are pretty easy to forget.

The way she references little star on the song with Lola, such a nice touch. What an experience this album has been, not a single skip just a beautifully crafted seamless album. Innovative, experimental and punchy in ways her past 3 albums tried to be but it actually pulled it off. Immediately in my top 3 Madonna albums and it might be number 2 just behind ROL.

It should've been the second single of the album. I love Give it 2 me but Candy shop wouldve definitely given the album more longevity and perhaps been a moderate hit in the States.

Different chart but after "Hit me one more time" Britney didnt get another US number 1 single till "Womanizer", almost a decade later which is an even crazier stat tbh. Most of her number 1 singles in the US are post Blackout which is the opposite of what happened in the UK singles wise.

Ive really grown to love this album over time, it still feels slightly under cooked but I really love how versatile it is WOW/In my arms/The one/Sensitised and even 2 hearts are all great songs
