something about the acoustic/pop tracks on here remind me so much of SOS by SZA….this is probably her weakest album but i do love the ballads on here slightly more than on SOI and OI.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed this. FMT sounds like a recreation of Nobody Gets Me, and Situationship/Allegedly both sound inspired by Special/Another Life.

between this and the 3rd album suddenly becoming a trilogy. it's giving the label had a little too much influence on the album

I lowkey wish the name was different. Someone not familiar with Summer would think she's saying she's over it for the first time. I feel like Forever Over It / Eternally Over It / Endlessly Over It would have given a better play on the theme.

Go Girl is really growing on me. I'd like to know when it was recorded, because sonically it sounds like a lot of R&B from 2020-2022. Latto and Doja were both smashing in that period too. FOI (track) is such a beautiful song from Summer. When I play it, I feel like I'm living in the ending of a sad drama film and a beloved main character has died. :weeps:

Damn definitely less than I was expecting considering SOI's debut numbers. i'm seriously starting to think the lack of singles leading up to the album is hurting the girls' sales… i mean HOAW came out a year ago and we don't talk about Spend It so :rip:

i mean still over it had a flop single (ex for a reason) and still smashed. The problem is the rollout was very long and the album wasn't that good...heart of a woman dropped more than a year ago. I think a lot of people lost interest during this long wait

Yeah I don't know why they thought that was a good idea. It was clearly supposed to come earlier given the very similar tracklist on the vinyls. I wonder what the hold up was

Finally Over It (The Afterparty)

Take Me Out This Club

1-800 Heartbreak (Solo)

Drown in My Love

I thought it would have had a more 90s feel like heart of a woman and some neo soul but it was cute I guess

the song with sexy red is the one I play the most

Love the album. So sad she wasted a good song on chr*s br*wn. Could have collaborated with someone else.

Isn't this already a solo song if she literally chops the last minute off? :rip:

1-800 Heartbreak is brilliant. :jonny5:And Do It If I Have To fixed my main issue with Heart of a Woman(the lack of a bridge) so those are my top two.
