Summer Walker - 'Finally Over It'

Featured Replies

This album does have some really nice songs.

I love: No, 1-800 Heartbreak, Heart Of A Woman, Give Me A Reason, FMT, Allegedly and Finally Over It.

However it's not as instant as Over It for me, which remains my favorite album in the trilogy. Honestly I feel like there's too many features. 13 features for a 18 track album is a bit excessive.

  • i prefer still over it. i blame the era on poor mgmt. even tho she was in a dark place i wish the label pushed more singles (and NOT wait so long to push no love).    no love, unloyal, const

  • So this is GREAT.   She really went 3/3 on a trilogy . She did that !!!

Allegedly is really so good. Something different for her and I feel like she has great chemistry with Teddy Swims on the song. She should push this one.

Great album, perfect for fall/winter!

Give Me a Reason

Go Girl

Baby

FMT (unnecessary and blatant Nobody Gets Me ripoff)

Thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. I was expecting much worse based on the comments since many claimed it's the worst of the trilogy. However, after listening to it, I'd actually rank them as follows: Over It > FOI > SOI.

It's a beautifully crafted album though it has its rough edges. It's not perfect and I'm sure it wasn't intended to be.

I mean it was a really enjoyable time listening to it but something's definitely missing some passion she had during the first two albums still DECENT

Yet another record where ppl sample Mariah and her voice and no credit as singer, songwriter only.

I love everything besides the Teddy Swims collab, but once someone rips Take Me Out The Club I'll just replace it and it'll be flawless. I already know I'll be spamming this all winter lol.  :jonny6:

And that's how it should be. Crediting the artist from a sample is kinda crazy

I can already tell Still Over It will not be topped for me. The production is feeling a bit... not as strong here.

Her momentum faded hard post SOS SZA domination so not shocked. Plus there was barely any hype. Still think she can do a solid first week sales splash tho

she was really the poor mans sza lmao

still over it also had so much drama around it while this just has no publicity

Since when is a debut at #4 on apple music not good? The overreacted hate in here, chill.

Hmmmm I was beyond excited, but what a letdown.

this is how I feel after having a listen... this album isn't as cohesive as the previous 2. the songs don't really blend well & she messed up with a lot of the features. she doesn't really have a distinct hit... "Over It" had "Playing Games" , "Come thru" , and "Body"... / Still Over It had "No Love", and even "Ex For A Reason" at some point... I don't really see any of these songs being distinctly remembered in 2 years or moving the ranking of her discography drastically. still a solid project tho.

i mean for her standards it's not, like she was the queen of apple music for a solid 4 years, still over it had songs in the top 10 right now

Right

I thought maybe it's a good change for her to be free of London. But his absence is missed.

But it's not bad; I'm sure I will find some new faves.
