I've been alone for so long. Not just relationship wise but just in life in general and I didn't think I would ever find peace in my own solitude. But I wish I knew sooner that all of my growth would come from finding comfort in being with myself. This year I've worked really hard to leave everything behind that doesn't serve me. Hookups, external validation, situationships, bad friends. I'll have lost 30kg by the middle of next month and I feel like I'm 7 years younger. For me, I've realised my depression was from projecting externally and I'm so proud to being on a path to overcome that. Of course I'd love good friends, a life partner and a picket fence but my journey has taught me that I am the centre of my own universe and everything else are just embellishments. I'm grateful that I am enough for myself no matter what happens
