  • i prefer still over it. i blame the era on poor mgmt. even tho she was in a dark place i wish the label pushed more singles (and NOT wait so long to push no love).    no love, unloyal, const

  • final artwork

  • So this is GREAT.   She really went 3/3 on a trilogy . She did that !!!

I bought The Afterparty.

Take Me Out This Club & Drown In My Love shouldve made every versions tracklist

Go Girl being called "lash tech music" left and right on TikTok sdxcfvgbhnj,k

I waited a whole week to lower my expectations (and bc I was too gagged by Afterglow & Lux)... and damn, even now I feel so disappointed

There is no soul in this sdfghj????? no passion, no emotion, I feel NOTHING.
such a "HERE DAMN" album, all the features are phoned in and they all do the bare minimum (the irony of Chris Brown being the best, I also loved Brent). All the rap girls dropped the ball so bad, terrible verses after terrible verses.

Finished my first listen today.

Standouts: Baby, 1-800-HEARTBREAK, Don't Make Me Do It/Tempted, Stitch Me Up, Take Me Out This Club, FMT

The rest is so forgettable :rip: Was gonna say we might need London back on the track but even then SOI had some songs not produced by him which I liked.

I've had the album on repeat ever since it came out and discover a new favorite track almost every day. It's just so addictive as a whole. :duca: Honestly, Finally Over It is such a great, cohesive record and fits perfectly as the closing album of the trilogy. :jonnycat:

The Afterparty deluxe is also a great addition to the record, since it includes the bop Take Me Out This Club and the solo version of 1-800-Heartbreak. I'm glad she released it.

Favorite tracks:

Get Yo Boy

Heart Of A Woman

1-800-Heartbreak (solo)

Number One

Take Me Out This Club

Baby

No (the Yes sample:smitten:)

How Sway

Robbed You

Drown In My Love

The slower, more emotional songs (Finally Over It, FMT, Give Me A Reason, Situationship) are also amazing and showcases the more vulnerable side of the record in an excellent way.

Go Girl was like my least favorite track on day one and now it might be my favorite :jonny6:

Go Girl is a smash. we need a video out in January :bird:

Literally CANNOT stop listening to this, the melodies and rhythms gradually revealing themselves over the weeks YAS!! I love it!!

I'm not sure if it's a stylistic choice but how come the lead vocal on the digital version has so much comp glitches :skull: i heard one on Robbed You and another on No already....the glitches aren't present during the same parts on the CD

1-800-heartbreak and Finally Over It might be her best songs ever.

After some time my trinity is

1. 1-800-Heartbreak

2. Finally Over It

3. Tempted

Single wise she should definitely push Go Girl imo .

I feel like that got the most attention on release week . Get a video out and send to radio for the start of next year !

shaped like the numba 8. :gaynetcat4:

I think this needs a different tracklist ordering and it would improve it immensely. I kinda hear y'all about this being a bit emotional less compared to her other projects.

it's some good tunes on here but it does give good R&B playlist vibes as an album instead of being a cohesive body of work.

also where are the performances? why we not promoting with that throat?
