That Britney legend thread is such an OGH trap. You can literally see the same ones breaking their keyboards trying to fend off poor Britney.

Spoiler

Knee stans back in the day were ruthless to Gaga, especially in the Born This Way vs. Femme Fatale days. It must have been salt on their wounds for them to see Gaga eclipse Britney so effortlesly over time.

All these legends threads are literally so absurd when I see the double standards people have for gaga compared to everyone else :alexz2:

Good Luck To GAGA!

Imo she needed Jenna Ortega to be the one dancing to it in Wednesday.

Ultimately,I think if they didn't try to make the dance blatantly mimicable for TikTok, it could've gone further organically

i think it was missing that "oh my god" moment. Like even HMH has that one shot where a fighter jet comes really freaking close

and when you use a legendary director to just make a TEOG-style video (I love TEOG as is, don't @ me) it won't make noise with the GP

also, let's be real, music videos are for the fans at this point. They hardly move anything.

we're in a boring period of hyper capitalist music that focuses on debuts and maintains with tours. It's sad

TDD is missing the explosive chorus, like all the other songs on Mayhem except Disease. She needs to use harder beats and kicks like JD, PF, BR her biggest hits. She prefers doing softer music now, but that doesn't make classics

Total Mayhem (uncompressed version) is coming and that's amazing!

Abra feels more like a SOTY contender than a ROTY one to me

Most people have been saying ROTY is more likely because it's more of a total package award vs. SOTY which awards the songwriter's specifically

TDD has been nominated for a Hollywood Music in Media Award

@Doctor Dick I love you but please stop fighting with the Swifties. We can't have feuds with every big fanbase :bird:

A large chunk of the OGHs are Swifties. A large. They were in every Gaga thread dragging her. We are not some victims that will run from the enemy, no! We are the Little Monsters! If we stop they will still continue. Remember my eggs? 80% of those tagged were Swifties. They are not our friends. Well, aside from a few that are super nice but you can say the same about every fanbase. Heck, Liddos start wars with the Beyhive too and frankly I don't see more Beyhive in anti-Gaga threads than Swifties. We were already at war with every fandom before I started throwing punches. :1878188721_deadbanana2z-Copy:

Too much smoke for it to be just rumors. Either Total Mayhem is coming or the extra dates in Europe. Or both. I don't think we will be getting zero.

Record definitely. I think it's hard to get SOTY nomination if a song has a sample and ABRA has. Plus the overall production of ABRA screams ROTY rather than SOTY which is more songwriting-focused. I think WILDFLOWER will win SOTY and ABRA for ROTY. Fingers crossed

Rumors about venues getting booked are mostly reliable but it depends on the dates, especially if we're talking about stadiums- the soccer world cup is happening in 2026 and is a pretty big deal in Europe so we'll see. Total Mayhem on the other hand.... :1878188721_deadbanana2z-Copy:

The songwriting/melody is the strongest part of the song to me, but I forgot about the sample thing that probably messes its chances a bit.

A large chunk of OGH "Swifties" are not Swifties at all, just hiding behind her success like the typical OGH. Some self-exposed themselves trying to defend certain artists in certain recent "legend" threads.

These fake Taylor stans (or at least the ones that gaslit themselves into thinking they are to appear more "legit") are also typically the ones that make Gaga drag bait thread.

Like how are y'all NOT seeing that these b!tches are just hiding behind the current successful female artists just to try and drag Gaga because their OG faves are WASHED UP has-beens. I'm not saying that there's no swiftie that's oghs, but most of them are or were always a certain female artist stans first before being a swiftie, and I can think of three stanbases that do this.

The Dead Dance has been nominated at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards!

2 things: The Line was already nominated last year so that's weird, and TDD frauded its way in since it wasn't written for Wednesday lmao

Her biggest haters in the stanworld has always been Britney & Madonna stans. I understand why the Madonna feud exists, but I don't get why Britney stans hate her so much. It never made any sense other than their albums came out near each other once in 2011, but they didn't like her even before that. I remember reading an ancient original ATRL thread from when Bad Romance first came out, and this one user was being so harsh on her, and then someone came out the woodwork and dragged them for "liking that horrible 3 song" and they spiraled out, lol.

The OGH convo reminded me -- Was anyone else online a few years ago for the "Secret Britney Stan" drama? :rip:

Some user uncovered or accurately surmised, that a lot of fans of various artists were at their core a Britney stan that hated Gaga, and used the others as a way to attack her

It was a staple of SYG for a while back when it was a regular thread

... Damn I've been on this site too long :skull:
