  1. The song is just too Doechii rap centred, it needs more enhancement of Gaga's beautiful vocals instead of compressing them
  2. Gaga's voice on the opening line was so good, but they went 'that's all you're getting from her'
  3. yet again Gaga's vocals are so compressed and quiet…grrrrr

911, Fun Tonight, Free Woman, Plastic Doll, Sine From Above, 1000 Doves and Disease are clean and dynamic songs from her studio albums!

    Hi

Venus and Gypsy were the smash hits of ARTPOP. Applause never stood a chance with its cringey lyrics and dated production

I don't understand why Randy Merrill mastered MAYHEM like that when all his other albums are really clean, loud and dynamic. Unless Gaga wanted it done that way

The Free Woman demo is an example of wasted potential with the 90's house influences, background vocals and the higher key without the raspiness. That would have made a smash lead single after ASIB when she had the world in her hands. Yet she still found a way to ruin it by releasing SL, which was leaked online and being played in clubs months before its release with that atrocious music video. It was a time she could get away with with taking more risks and being more daring, yet still wanted to play it as safe as possible. I'm the mastering stages of Chromatica and Mayhem, they are made to be watered down without hearing the details in the production that would make more impact. I hope this isn't going to happen for her future albums, but something tells me she wants to be 'softer' now. Her Jazz albums and side projects are the only way we can hear the full power of her voice, and have better production to showcase it. Her studio albums are cursed

It aged badly because it was a watered down compressed quick single. With Ariana on it, it should have been a dance banger like her catalogue, and Gaga's early work. She just doesn't want to do anything daring these days, and plays it safe. Abracadabra will be similar, it will battle its way to 1B streams but end up forgotten in a couple of years

I hope the Telephone continuation is on Beyoncé's act III, because that means great production guaranteed. Beyoncé doesn't really do music videos now though

Hair peaked higher than Abracadabra on the hot 100
  12. MadMax12 replied to OreGuy's topic in Base
I forgot Hair peaked at #12 as a promo single, maybe it should have been a single too

Singles should have been: BTW - BTW, TEOG, Sheisse, You and I, Bloody Mary ARTPOP - Venus, Gypsy, DWUW, Applause Joanne - Million Reasons, Dancin in Circles, Sinners Prayer, Angel Down Chromatica - Replay, ROM, Sour Candy, Babylon MAYHEM - DWAS, Abracadabra, Garden of Eden, HWDUWM, Vanish Into You

I try to hear Perfect Celebrity as the industrial gothic rock anthem it is meant to be without the distortion and compression, and it's a career highlight

The arrangement of DWAS was a mess, completely out of synch and time with the instruments. She should have sang abracadabra, maybe it could finally go top 10
