I feel like the director weirdly picked the cast by popularity, and I know with his stature he probably can pick whatever actor he wants, he just has horrendous taste and for some reason, wanted this to be an all-star cast to the detriment of the film. I'm annoyed by how up his ass people are when he kind of sucks.

Pretty much this. Some are just bored, and angry that their faves have both peaked, and are inactive, but have nothing to keep up with. This behavior isn't new to ATRL. In fact, I feel kind of sad for them tbh.

The Michael/Janet song was good, but came at time when he was being exposed as a pedo. The Britney/Madonna song is borderline unlistenable, so it's no surprise it didn't do well.

I don't think Rihanna is a popular act to impersonate. Her whole thing was being above-it-all, which is boring to do.

It was very critically acclaimed by critics, NPR types, the Beyhive, and finally won her the AOTY Grammy. but despite all that, it lowkey made anyone outside those groups kind of bored of her if I were to be real. Hope the next one is more interesting.

And they're all awful or bland, no surprise. That awful Audrey Hobert girl (Gracie's BFF) is also a thing. All of them sound like mini Taylor Swift's, and its all so bad that actually makes me appreciate trash like Addison Rae.

No offense, but ATRL in general doesn't really GAF about Shakira, so why would the Liddos? (besides you of course).

Hey guys, checking in, I think the new songs are cute, and at the very least listenable (which is more than I can say for some releases). Her cameo was genuinely funny. Sad she's likely not going to the Met Gala, but oh well. Anyway, I'm probably on my way to ban land due to people diabolically thinking I was blaming Aubrey Plaza for her husband's death (insane), and now posting a drag to certain annoying stans of others.
