I love the album though, the highs are really high. I just don't use some songs.

Don't know if it's allowed here, but i wonder if any one have the HQ original single version of WHYDFML, Nasty and Control, only find Nasty on Youtube. 

It seems they only appear in some random European compilations but i'm not really planning to buy them due to high shipping cost.

Damita clears overall but I'm always gonna fight for the legendary album run being Control to DJ and not ending at TVR

 

I had been wanting to find this rare Australian interview Janet did on the Australian talk show, Rove Live, during the Damita Jo era in 2004 and couldn't find any video of it until now, thanks to a great youtube channel of an Australian pop music addict that taped a lot of Australian shows during the 90s and 2000s. They have been digitising and uploading their tapes over the past few years with a lot of rare interviews and music specials.

 

 

Interesting tidbit of info is that Janet revealed a world tour for Damita Jo was supposed to start in September and scheduled run to the end of the year at the time. We were ROBBED of this

Surely the end of the Vegas run means some form of new music might be on the horizon or proper reissues?

Although her image was severly damaged, I think a tour for her with 20 stops in the US would still go ahead fine. Just see how Rcok Witchu doing okay 4 years later with no hype. DJ would still sell out plus those oversea stops will help the album's run and her confidence of touring oversea.

Her impact  Hope Jimmy and Terry got a good paycheck out of this - it was a minor hit in Japan!

At this point I would be very surprised if she released another album... I can't believe Unbreakable is turning ten in a few months 

I just want a new album. 

As we've seen, as long as there's demand she'll either do shows or release an album. Wouldn't be surprised if we got a new album in the next year

Control 40th anniversary tour coming to you next year! Anything to avoid releasing a new album .

She even refused to release Luv i luv, I don't think she will release another album. It's not like her last three albums set a very high bar. Just find TT for half the album and then some fancy new guys for another half. I want a pop and RNB album as her farewell.
