I knew most songs on it but never listened from start to finish, it was a journey   i'm listening to all her albums 

So far i have fully listened to: Janet, Rhythm Nation, Control, The Velvet Rope

 

I could name any of them as my fave from ha because they're just too good what would you recommend next?

You have listened to the four really major ones. Try All For You and Damita Jo next, they have tons of bops but also some slow spots so be warned.

Damita Jo is one for the freaks so if that sounds like something you could get behind then do that

I blame randy for the constant touring and no new music. It's like they are short on money or something. 

gil is an awful creative director. it makes no sense not to put in effort for her first tv performance in 8 years. jfc

 

Yeah, I know she's her friend but she desperately needs some new blood creatively. Although to be fair, it seems Janet herself doesn't care much.

Things won't get better until Randy (and Gil for that matter) are out of the picture, which we know won't ever happen. I hate how easily influenced she is by the men in her life.

Damita Jo - consistently good, but doesn't reach the highs of AFY

Damita Jo also has the 1-2 punch of Warmth and Moist

I always get excited when I see someone else give 20YO some love. It's one of my fav Janet albums. So many bangers!
