  1. No it's true it's true, she was drawing parallels between her attempts to maintain the facade of their dying relationship and the superficiality of having an image to maintain as a public figure. Supernatural is the pristine, heaven in the clouds depiction of their family in the eyes of a new mother filled with boundless love, free from any conflict or turmoil. Then a Meteorite passes and shatters that perfect image, a very intentional metaphor by Mariah. It is much in the same way us humans can't help but fixate on extraterrestrial bodies and cosmic events for both spiritual and entertainment purposes. The Meteorite is temptation from heights even the clouds cannot reach and represents Nick's desires as he further allocates all of his priorities to the Sisyphean pursuit of fleeting stardom while neglecting his family. In the aftermath of the meteorite she finds herself in an unfamiliar environment and Camouflages herself as a defense mechanism while she tends to the reopened wounds of her abandonment. Money ($*/...) is the theater of pretending to live life normally under late stage capitalism that has fully transformed the world after planet-altering events (Meteorite). Nick finally comes home and they can no longer pretend that their love is the same as it used to be because no one is spared from the insatiable hunger of capitalism that seeks endless consumption (And I dream the impossible dream / When you and I are alone) but she decides after all to give it One More Try. Wow what a deeply complex and emotionally rich story. Ariana being the student of Mariah that she is caught all of this I'm sure. I mean is it a coincidence One Last Time (One More Try) attempts to create a video depiction of MIAM? We may never know for sure
  2. Her other remixes have like 10 sections and Portrait Remix has like 30 it's honestly one of the greatest displays of musicianship ever for a pop girl... because who else has the musical chops for a 16 minute jam session which is basically what all her house remixes are I mean first of all where the **** is Angels Advocate. Since she seems more comfortable doing remixes to old songs than making new material she might as well redo everything. Give us a Bye Bye remix maybe it can help her heal like the Portrait one
  3. I lost my link to the voice note of her singing Dedicated..... why even live anymore. This has to be suburban's fault
  4. Another council member I see
  5. But I don't want to imagine a fourth Ariana collab on another remix I want an original song! It could've been an Eternal Sunshine track maybe I'm picking up what you're putting down
  6. It represents an emotional break, the part of her humanity split from her in the divorce. Art!
  7. I guess I lied council is back. #Throwback to her personally picking my favorite song of all time for a fave track she wants to be rereleased to get more love at 2:40 . My spiritual MIAM connection with mother. I should've been that gay at the album signing saying that MIAM is the best album of all time but I stopped myself from mentioning past albums because I thought that wouldn't be classy
  8. HFIA broke her legendary quality streak but I have hopes she just needs to (want to) get back into creation and find new music she actually likes to be inspired again. HFIA the song and Portrait Remix are two of the best things she's done... now the rest well. I loved Sugar Sweet and still use Mi, Type Dangerous, and I Won't Allow It too. It is crazy that she even chose to put out her most uninspired album ever after her biggest music break ever, like did she even want to put it out? Why? Insane waste of hype And the real humiliation ritual was that article from her label that said she wanted to surpass the Beatles like Lebron passing Kareem KJWEBHNKLWEHLKWJEHNLWK like omg.....really? With what In Your Feelings? Not that Lebron surpassed him during a winning season either but really. That one haunts me like #DoYouWantMyHeart
  9. Oh it's getting kinda scary in here... MIAM council meeting adjourned. Until next time!

  11. I'm sure if it's any of the ones in my top 5/6 it's the one always in danger of being replaced so I'm chilling
  12. Make sure to tag whoever you think will be the most offended. I might have some ideas let me look at your last.fm
  13. God reveals new truths with every reading of the bible, in a future MIAM council meeting we will discuss how Faded paved the way for Christmas & Chill which paved the way for Pinkpantheress and the Tik Tok shortening of Pop music structures
  14. I can only talk like this now that it's so dead in here, ten years ago the lambs lined you up and executed you via firing squad if your posts didn't include at least three exaltations of her top 6 selling albums (90s + Emancipation) or didn't consist at least 70% of music commentary dedicated solely to counting high notes and album sales.
