      I celebrated the 20th anniversary of Damita Jo early with designing and commissioning a custom gatefold sleeve to house the 2LP vinyl I have of the album. I found the original sleeve way too dull and

    While Meter Ho certainly is far from my favorite Janet album, I hope the Janetors can give it a nice boost tomorrow. Were such flops as a unit and can never seem to organize or come together properly.

    I'm disappointed. This album is significant to the fans and I had hopes that this would get some recognition outside of social media posts. No harm in having hope, but I'd rather have action and results. That's why as fans, I love when we celebrate the anniversaries and do things creatively. Won't keep waiting around for Janet and team to get things right.

    I was pleasantly surprised when Discipline, a non-"Control-AFY" album, got some love with digital deluxe/vinyl re-stock so I was hoping this fan fav would to. But yeah I think it's good for us to do our own things, like Janet Jackson Appreciation Day, while we wait for her/team "just a little while." :heart:

    I still can't believe it's been four ******* years since she announced Black Diamond and all that we've gotten is a 20 second snippet :deadbanana2: Why can't she just release the damn album?

     

    I'm also really hopeful that she announces the european leg but I'm afraid that it's just gonna be another one of her lies :noparty:

    The pandemic was a lame excuse to delay it in the first place. Like plenty of artists released music during the pandemic to great success. And she can't even say she wanted to wait until she toured to released music because she's toured since then and the music still ain't here.

    I never thought the gap from that to the new album would be longer than Discipline to Unbreakable but here we are.
