I wonder what happend to Black Diamond. It seemed like the album was finished. Why not release it? And if for whatever reason she doesn't want to record new music, just release expanded editions of her older albums. There are so many leaks that are honestly great and deserve to be released from the vault. It's not like she forgot about those songs either since she plays them from time to time during her shows. I've seen her playing Pops Up recently and I was gagged.

Her streams are too abysmal to motivate her to deal with copyrights and royalties. Her team is truly lazy, and she also just don't care as long as she can continue to tour and make money.

She lives in London now, perhaps they get together a few times and have fun with each other. I think Kylie always invites her to her shows whenever she can since Covid.

I hope her next album ends up being a double-disc album. This is the longest she's gone in her career without releasing an album.

Well Janet has finally performed Every Time in over 27 years! It was apparently only performed once previously for the final Tokyo show of the The Velvet Rope tour back in 1999 and never again, until now! It was added to the setlist for the first show of the final 6 shows for her current Vegas residency. Video footage can be seen in the Janet Jackson Brasil fansite article link below.

Why there's been not a word on new music is so puzzling - it would be understandable if she left the industry entirely like Britney or Namie Amuro but she's still performing a lot including multiple legs across the US in the last few years (where tickets didn't quite fly off the shelves). Maybe her team aka Randy are so out of touch that they genuinely think no one would care about new music and it wouldn't help ticket sales  even though Unbreakable is 10 years old next month and it hit #1 on the US charts and that the people paying for the most expensive ticket are stans. It's so

What are the chances of a proper remastered expanded deluxe edition or even new music ? Thoughts?

Don't count on it if Randy is in "Control" of greenlighting that or not 

We didn't get anything remastered or expanded of the Damita Jo 20th anniversary last year despite Janet acknowledging the album with 1 or 2 social media post, so don't expect anything like that for Control.

Hopefully going from Janet's post about the end of the Vegas residency and hinting at something for next year actually is something good.  

Apparently there is this strange dance trend starting to go viral on US TikTok using Janet's Anytime, Anyplace sound. So much so, the song has actually entered the TikTok US music charts and has so far peaked at #7 today! Is this going to be her 2nd song to go fully viral like Someone To Call My Lover earlier in the year?
