This I've been hearing it a lot. It's very escapism / recession-pop coded in terms of its feel despite being from 2001, and country-lite, so it makes sense why it's having a moment. And taste!

I don't think she's ever really had a song go viral. It would be nice if it was this one. We're having an 00's influence in contemporary music, so it tracks that this would catch on. It was huge at the time and narrowly missed the #1 spot.

Gains 30k streams again today. This boost seems to be pretty sustained. 

Mother has so many great songs that could go viral. I can imagine STCML exploding during springtime with a bunch of tiktok clips on flower fields

Agreed. It's such a great song.

I feel like her having some great 00's music that is ripe for rediscovery and reevaluation is a good omen given that that era is having a renaissance in contemporary music.

Escapade has consistently been in the lower range of her top 10 on Spotify and now has over 41M streams. It was also featured on the Throwback Thursday playlist and has received a bump to about 30k streams/day. She will grow her audience if she is playlist more. I think Escapade and Love Will Never Do (Without You) are the songs from Rhythm Nation that are most ripe for rediscovery.
