  1. Nope, life did it for me We're still friends but hearing him complain about someone doing the same things he did to me gave me satisfaction
  2. Britney Spears - Toxic Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness Katy Perry - Dark Horse Beyoncé - Halo Lady Gaga - Die with a Smile Rihanna - We Found Love Adele - Someone Like You Ariana Grande - 7 rings Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer I like all of them though
  3. Not the OP making this thread based on the announcement and a 30 second video of her playing the bass No future Miley era will be as bad as Dead Petz so the answer is no!
  4. 2 concerts being a residency/tour now I'm so glad she's doing shows again though, even if it's just two. I can't believe it's been 4 years since her last concert. I hope she enjoys it and it leads her to do an actual tour, even if it's small. She's such a fantastic performer.
  5. This probably means Dua is coming back soon Miley turning it down was such a bad move though, it could do wonders for her
  6. It would be awesome if it did cause it peaked waay too low, it should've gone top 10. Unfortunately I don't think it's gonna happen
  7. To be fair it's a good song but doesn't have a lot of replay value... I rarely listen to it (I think it's because I played it so much in 2018 though). The video is almost at 90M views though!
  8. Since it still has a 100 point lead at this point I'm expecting it to reach 30 weeks Unless a major artist makes a comeback
  9. A 15 year old Katy Perry song being the song of the summer of the trendiest social media app was not in my 2026 predictions Congrats to her though, see when you make classics
  10. I haven't updated this thread in such a long time Since January 2025: Janet has released the Doesn't Really Matter remix with BE:FIRST, which peaked at #12 in Japan and has moved over 100,000 units worldwide. Has done a Vegas residency and a short tour in Japan. With those two tours, she has now surpassed a total career gross of $600 MILLION. As of September 1, 2026 these are her album's streams on Spotify: The Velvet Rope - 469M. janet. - 421M. All for You - 308M. Control - 195M. Rhythm Nation 1814 - 192M. Unbreakable - 85.5M. 20 Y.O. - 73.6M. Damita Jo - 49.1M. Discipline - 45.7M. Janet Jackson - 3M. Dream Street - 1.4M. Her next album to reach 100M streams is gonna be 20 Y.O. but it's still gonna take 2 years. Top 20 most streamed tracks on Spotify: That's the Way Love Goes - 198M. Together Again - 194M. All for You - 147M. Got 'Til It's Gone - 136M. Scream - 128M. Someone to Call My Lover - 98M. Any Time, Any Place - 78.6M. Again - 62.5M. I Get Lonely - 58M. Call on Me - 53.7M. Escapade - 52.8M. When I Think of You - 44.6M. Nasty - 40.7M. Rhythm Nation - 38.8M. Made for Now - 36.5M. Let's Wait Awhile - 35.9M. If - 34.6M. Miss You Much - 28.8M. What's It Gonna Be - 28M. Feel It Boy - 26.6M. Janet has 5 songs that have surpassed 100 million streams. Someone to Call My Lover is gonna be the next, as it's predicted to reach the mark in 2 weeks.
  11. 3-5% is insane This makes sense though. With that said I'm hoping Primary Wave start doing stuff with her catalog and release unreleased music.
  12. Ah hell no, we can't lose another music legend this week
  13. Not feeling the title but I would so be here for a new album I'd be really surprised if he did a follow up to EITIW so early since he took 6 years between 20/20 > MOTW > EITIW
  14. Britney with Britney Jean (she didn't give a damn) Janet with Damita Jo and 20 Y.O., she kept on going and didn't do any shenanigans Kylie with Kiss Me Once Shania with her new album
  15. It's crazy that it's been 10 years already (although at the same time it feels like a lifetime ago). I played it soooo much when it came out and I have very fond memories of it, it was my first era as a Britney stan. I still think Better should've been the second single
  16. 40€ for Shania's Come On Over double LP... that's the most I'll spend on a vinyl tbh (although it's been tempting to buy the eternal sunshine: brighter days one for 50€)
  17. PLEASE don't. I just know the remix would be terrible and would not add anything to it. The song is good and smashing all by itself, leave it alone Ms. Ella
  18. "EAS" is such a stupid thing since she's crossed 200 million records sold like 20 years ago
  19. I don't think she's ever gonna top Future Nostalgia in terms of quality or success but she can definitely rebound from Radical Optimism's undeperformance
  20. Most artists just start using their first name on promotional material once they reach a certain point but they never officially get rid of their last name (the only artists I can think of that actually did that are Janet and Cheryl Cole). I think she should go that route instead of actually dropping the name.
  21. Definitely some Hannah Montana songs but that's about it
  22. I wish the US was on board with this resurface like the UK is... a #27 peak for this SERVE is way too low
  23. «"We've had very strong explicit requests of what people want to see us do together," Dean explained. He strongly hinted that those requests have been fulfilled, so make of that what you will» What the hell I can only imagine what the requests were. That's just sick.
