Is there a way to watch Ajay's reaction in full without paying 5$? Kinda f*** her for not posting s*** to Youtube. I don't like her Patreon it attracts the most brainrotted stans, I once bought it, thought there'd be discussions about the music but the comments are full of stans pestering her to react to their faves. It reflects on her reactions too she got more stan brained since she started her Patreon.

I kinda get it, much more plausible than likening Read My Lips to American Life.

Madonna stans don't stone me but I LOOOOVE her and Guy Ritchie's relationship. They evidently had romantic and especially intellectual chemistry. Relationships can start to show cracks long before the breakup and you can try sooooo hard to salvage it or cope with it. Whatever grievance they have is between them, it's not up to me to judge. Love can be destructive, sometimes that's how you know it's real. Miles Away is a gorgeous, heart shattering record. It would be an all time Madonna record without the gimmicky production. I think that song describes their situation the best. On the bridge she sings the following which describes her emotional state the best: "I'm alright, don't be sorry, but it's true When I'm gone, you'll realize That I'm the best thing that happened to you" Those lines are full of heartbreak concealed in pride and passive anger. Resilience being such a big theme in her 2010s music is definitely a symptom of her putting on her defense mechanisms and becoming emotionally cold.

My theory is the divorce messed her up bad. Probably shook her belief in love. Even looking at photos from 2008 vs 2005 she looks much colder, cynical. She must've gave in to hedonism. I think her going overboard with the surgical procedures was also a symptom of that. But she supposedly had her first facelift in the 90s and facelifts need to be redone every ten years so she maybe never wanted to age naturally. MDNA is such a fascinating album in the sense that it's supposedly a divorce album yet it's so numb and cold. Miles Away alone has more soul and emotion than the whole record. I don't think she wanted to feel her emotions during that time.

One thing I HATE about this album is that I couldn't be productive this weekend at all because all I could do is play the album. My screen time has been 14 hours for the past three days. Constantly refreshing Youtube for reaction videos is soul draining.

I was pretty spot on so far 200k first week is coming One thing I did not predict is the album being this good.

Bring Your Love doing 1M and Love Sensation doing 700k on second day are great news. I'm positive they'll be sleeper hits now.

Madonna not having a huge streaming drop is a first and insane Now imagine it stabilizes around 8M daily. That would make it a streaming hit for any age.

Read My Lips grew on me massively. I was so turned off by the reggaeton beat in the snippet and the feature and her processed Madame X vocals but it's a latin house banger plus the guest verse doesn't come until the bridge and her vocals aren't even bad. I don't mind the feature either he fits. Prime Pitbull would kill that feature, something like I Know You Want Me. It will grow on you if you just give it a proper chance. I had skipped it on my previous listens.
