I'm not saying they shouldn't retouch her photos, it's completely normal and ok, I retouch images for a living. The problem is they're turning her into Blue. The idea and whole point of retouching an image is that the average person shouldn't be able to notice that the editing was there. Someone is doing an awful job and they're getting paid to do it.

 

Also, this didn't happen on the US shows. I don't know if they changed the person in charge when going to Europe (which would be weird), but it only started happening since London. Go look at her Instagram.

 

As someone who's very passionate about what they do, this makes me very angry.

It's insane. They're sabotaging her, these pictures will not age well.

 

Also, for the people giving me confused reactions or down votes, it's not like I'm mad at Beyoncé, actually I'm mad FOR Beyoncé. These photos hold importance and they're (a small, but regardless) part of her legacy. You may think she looks "fine", and she does, but she looks like a Bratz doll cartoon, which for a quick Instagram post is fine but it will make the photos unusable in the future. Your job as an editor, especially in these kinds of gigs, is to make the photos timeless.

I think she looks normal in those photos. She posts them minutes after she gets off stage. No idea how they'd change her eye shape so quickly

She does not post them minutes after she gets off the stage, first of all, and even if they were posted minutes after, it's entirely possible. There's an entire camp of people making selects as the show is happening in real time. As pictures get taken, they're sent to their team via WiFi transmitters to the editor's computers and they're retouching pretty much in real time, I work in this. And it's not a matter of if. The photos are retouched atrociously, very very matter of fact.

 

By the time she gets off stage, they probably have about 50 photos for her to approve (as shown in the Renny film), and then they post. I think the problem may be exactly that, they want to get the photos out as soon as possible, and because they're retouching very quickly, the edits are sloppy. 

 

Anyways, this is the last time I talk about this because y'all don't see it. It's fine, but it still makes me livid.

Sorry, I just don't see a difference.  Her eyes are looking like that with the current makeup. They don't look off in the pics imo.

Compare two low quality pictures of the same person taken by different cameras, from different angles, from different distances, in different lighting.

We already had a joint album and it's the weakest project in her discography. Back to rock we go, thank you :3

It was really cute and fun but I hope there's no otriii or another album with him. She's already done that. Let's keep releasing solo albums and going on solo tours. 

 

No DC albums or tours either for now. I hope.

Idk about the photo thang but I do hate her new eyebrow makeup style. Shes always had signature thick and long brows (Cara Delasomething could NEVA) but lately they've been thinned out.
