Beys ability to just effortlessly sing any- and everything with perfect pitch and intonation will always be impressive. It just comes so easy to her it seems. Truly born to be on stage

There's a huge reason why I was so confused at doomsday Hive complaining before/right when the tour started. Saying things like "this is so messy, this tour doesn't make sense, omg the fits are so bad".

 

Now look at what we're seeing now. It's arguably her BEST tour hands down (literally nearly every Hive that says they went to CC Tour are saying it's better than Rennie). And I just think this proves we just need to stop paying attention to all the outside noise and just be HAPPY that Bey is giving us so much.

 

The way there were parts of the Hive thinking this tour wasn't "selling out". Like it's literally BEYONCE… PLEASE. 

 

I just knew the CC Tour was gonna be so much bigger and better than what we thought, and I'm so glad some of us didn't fall prey to all the other stanbases and news outlets saying BS.

I have to admit, the sales for this tour were far more sluggish than RWT and comparable maybe only to OTRII (which eventually sold out - London's CCT shows didn't) - so there's a valid convo to be had about her team setting the prices too high at first and ripping off stans when they lowered them for the GP. 

 

That being said

 

This tour is absolutely better than Rennie, which I never thought I'd say given how much more I love Rennie compared to the overall Act II project. The issue with the RWT I had was its pacing. It was very stop and start, not just in terms of the overall tracklist, but songs like Cuff It were chopped into small sections with extended breaks which didn't work for me at all. This tour is absolutely relentless (apart from Alligator Tears and JFF, which should have been swapped for II Most Wanted), and the excitement is infectious. Bey has also finally started to use the whole stadium, which is fab. 

 

SO obsessed with this tour.

Well, we might get a release in theaters or on streaming. Fingers crossed. 

For Renaissance, I was right in front of her, it was an excellent show tbh. CCT was just... , the spacing was incredible, there's never an off moment. I even managed to enjoy JFF and Blackbird cause nothing dragged, nothing felt out of place or too long. 

So well rhythmed. I managed to catch one of the last trains and some girl kept saying "wow c'est passé si vite pourtant c'était presque 3h" meaning wow it went by so fast but it was actually almost 3h long. 

We really had this feeling of when is she stopping? There's no way she can keep going! You feel like she is leaving every thing on stage. It's a magical sight of a woman living her passion to the fullest, with her sweat and growls. Watching her, I felt it deep in my soul, she couldn't have been anything else, she couldn't have done anything else. She was at the place meant for her. And for once it struck me why she feels sooo larger than life. She felt like a monument and that's why. 

 

It was up and up and up. When there were too many uptempos and we started to feel fatigue from yelling, the sequence of slow songs started to make you settle down a little bit. And then up and up and up again. People losing their mind for Daddy Lessons was dear to me.

And her musicality shone through in a dizzling manner, the powerfulness of her catalog, the way she distributed that, I think it's her best tour for casuals to ever experience. To come in the stadium for an artist you barely listen to and to experience American Requiem, Yaya/WDYLM, Freedom, Bodyguard, Daughter, 2H2H, 16 Carriages (barely anyone left, not like Halo and they were still all there when she closed with AMEN and realized it sounds like the song she opened with), Flamenco in the mix of hip-hop heavy songs like Spaghetti, My House, Diva, then switch to disco-house masterpieces from Renaissance, a real music lover can't leave that stadium not feeling impressed by the display of RANGE. So many vocal moments distributed all throughout the show and no just concentrated at one point. And she danced! 

The hits medley was such a moment for locals too, that vague of glee, euphoria and nostalgia seizing the stadium was blissful. Even the 50's year old men where cheering and moving their heads in awe. And although they had setting places, they were standing most of the concert. 

 

This time, I was sitting on the West side cat 1, great view, and I was high enough to see the amount of money (!!!!) and details for the production of the stage. 

The lights during TH'E were eerie, The whole stage becoming a Jean with intricate Deareon type of designs during Levii's was something I missed on the videos. When Heated starts, the lights on the huge star at the base of the stage, mimic and fall in sync with the clapping of the fans from Heated. The details. It is a tour to experience from up. She didn't come at all to the West side, not even once and I didn't even care.

I can't think of everything now but wooo it was magical! 

I want the tour film, I need it!

I didn't really enjoy that II Most Wanted performance. No shade to Miley, but I think it just showcased how vocally limited she is.

Oh wow, what an amazing review you ate that

 

I thought it was a lovely performance. Not flawless by any means but they fed off each other's energy beautifully and the harmonies were nice (even if Miley swapped to the lower harmony).

 

People keep saying there were issues with Miley's mic, but if you listen to this video with better audio you can tell she was the one that chose to not sing at certain moments. None of us can even begin to imagine how nerve-wracking it is to sing alongside Bey let alone in front of a sold out stadium + millions more that will watch the videos online. She was playing it safe and avoiding moments that would've caused her to strain a lot.

 

If she's back for shows #2 and #3, she'll 100% iron out those kinks and feel more at home on that stage. Anyone unfamiliar with her may only have her controversial 2014 era as a reference, but Miley's actually incredibly talented vocally and one of the few artists from her generation that's truly deserving of a stage spot with Bey
