Realistically, shes just going to repeat the pattern.

Album Act 1 (2022) - Tour (2023) + Film - Album (2024) - Tour (2025) + Film (?) - Album (2026) - Tour (2027)

 

Only thing thats different this year compared to 2023: She's ending the tour with significantly less dates and earlier, which gives more room. So a late 2025 release isn't out of the question per se, especially since the Trilogy bundle could easily be sold during Christmas..so who knows

This time last era we had multiple DJ remixes and one legendary collab for BMS, a Cuff It remix and an AHAP remix. And Delresto. And we were on My House's doorstep.

It's intriguing how little she's done to support CC when it comes to remix tracks and other collabs, beyond Pony Up (which is this era's Wetter Remix I guess?). A collab remix for Bodyguard with a heavy hitter, and II Hands solo remix seem like no brainers.

Is there any precedent for her remixing her new songs with old songs and releasing them as official remixes? Beyond live album medleys? I'd love these two to come out as reworked studio tracks but I just can't see her doing it (even if it would re-inforce her messaging that she's always made music rooted in country)

I don't think so. I can't even remember her releasing a Megamix. Maybe DC has a medley somewhere. Definitely seems like something Mathew would release on a maxi-single.

I think people are reading her wearing it as an endorsement of the text, rather than looking at it from the point of view it was written.  "Their antagonists were..." doesn't mean those people were the bad guys, it just means those were their antagonists from their point of view. 

 

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I really don't think she was trying to say indigenous people or Mexican revolutionaries were villains.  I think it takes a very surface level reading of it for that to be the takeaway.

It's a historical text depicting a moment in time. As you said, it doesn't mean she endorses the message, just paying homage to the Buffalo Soldiers who often had no choice but to join the army and perform these actions. Yes, America was built on stolen land. It doesn't mean Beyoncé endorses colonialism. But of course, there is zero nuance or historical context and people were using an image of a historical text on a tshirt to get another dig in at Beyoncé. The funniest thing was that it was 18 pages of people whose faves make it a habit to fraternize with problematic people so of course they have to grasp at a tshirt with a picture from a Houston museum. It's ridiculous.
