I see from the previous 2 pages, there's nothing new from Bey. Let me come back in a few months. OT : Homecoming is underrated? In what world? Pff Ch...

Lemonade's haters are just like Beyoncé's haters. They always want to make their distaste known even when no one asks for it. First of all, Lemonade is not overrated by the Hive, it's the album few fans like and support. Chart Hive also can't appreciate it because it doesn't have the numbers therefore they think it's automatically bad, I saw the discourses here since 2021.Funny how much the album became openly disliked and unappreciated since its streams became public. How can it not be part of her musical arsenal when it reshaped her career and influenced her musical direction because it showed that she can master any genre. Something she espoused moving forward, that album ushered Renaissance, Cowboy Carter and the possible Rock album that is coming? And how isn't it Bey's core musical output? What are Sorry, Formation, Freedom, 6Inch, Love Drought and All Night if not Beyoncé? Those are typical Beyoncé's songs. This discourse is just as tired as the "you have to be in a certain mood to listen to it" discourse. "Y'all can gag over her recent tours that barely feature any song sans Formation". What does that even mean? Did you attend the Cowboy Carter Tour? It has Freedom, Daddy Lessons and Formation. It seems you didn't know but the first two are songs from Lemonade. CCT has zero song from 4, ST and barely features any songs from her other albums sans Ren/CC. Does that make 4 and ST not good material? What is the correlation between a tour having an album and the quality of said album? Anyway I usually just move past Lemonade's slander but I dislike how you seem hell bent on questioning the very few of us (and there are very few of us to start with) who seem to think the album is a masterpiece or her best. No one is forcing you to like it. You've been pretty vocal with your dislike just like the usual "Lemonde is bad" "Lemonade is overrated" stance we get every semester since 2019 after it hit Spotify from members who are avid of attention because they know it's a shared sentiment in the standom. It's a bit weird to invalidate people's opinions with un truths.
  3. Even beautiful women have their insecurities, let her abuse photoshop, if it makes her feel better. OT : The DC3 girls always supporting one another. I live to see it.
  4. Sorry but what you say makes little sense. Or you just decided to make your own criteria of what a songwriter or a producer is. Bravo! When Beyoncé was starting her career, she had no teams etc... yet wrote and produced countless DC hits. People in the studio with her at 17, also renown producers at that time, saluted her for her producing skills. Same for her ability to craft and write songs. That has never stopped any of you. Because it was never about logic but about hatred. By the way, she looks stunning in that avie. Cool obsession token.
  5. She really wrote this? The new generation of artists is... Different. OT : That's surprising. She is a singles' artists though, if a song goes viral, it will re-enter. That's what saved her last album too.
  6. Congratulations to both women. I don't find Chartmasters to be trusted source but no one can deny that Taylor is absolutely huge, huge. For how dominant Taylor has been in the last decade, it makes sense that she's up there.
  7. She IS a songwriter, she is a producer. A damn good one too. The huge paragraphs won't change that.

    She looks fantastic, however.
  9. It's funny the things that get discussed on Atrl lately. We all want those women to be awful people so bad. However it's so funny how in Tay's threads the best Swifties' defense most of the time is "but Beyoncé did this...". She's always all over the first page and both fanbases come voting in masses. The one who was going on about a slave state as if the whole US is not a whole slaves' factory.
  10. Oh it will be sweet. Independent Women spent 10 weeks at #1 too and that's a song she wrote and produced almost entirely by herself, and funny how people have no problem with the facts that she gave credits away in a song that she had almost entirely finished before other people added some touches but have a problem when she takes 1% credit when it's reversed. Also Survivor spent a lot of time at #2 and she wrote it too. They are about to be mad and yell Jay-Z at the top of their lungs for her success when he was not even in the picture yet.
  11. Isn't sweet how her husband would pay for places in list above himself and awards he doesn't pay for himself and when she has her own money too. That kind of love is priceless, I guess. OT : Beyoncé will place high as she rightfully deserves. No matter how much haters seethe.
  12. I don't get this comment. Performative of what? She's been pro-capitalism her whole career, her songs and videos show it. OT : I am quite disappointed in her. The way Kim tried so hard to infiltrate her clan and be friend with her and she resisted for years and years, and got lynched by TMZ every 2 days in articles clearly paid by Kris Jenner and her team and yet here we are. How the mighties have fallen. But that is just my personal indifference of that family, I don't really care that much. Kris Jenner's ability to infiltrate the whole black industry and stick with the most revered black musicians and entertainers is appealing to say the least : from Oprah that seems to go everywhere she goes, Mariah, Beyoncé and even Stevie Wonder. Just appalling.

Ch... Why? I'm surprised Bey went there. How has Kris managed to infiltrate entertainment black royalty so perfectly and consistently : from Oprah to Bey to everyone. A bit sad imo. OT : Fave tour : Cowboy Carter. 2nd fave tour not in a stadium : The Beyoncé Experience. Fave festival : Glastonbury.
  14. Utada is just too creative.
  15. It's always the miserable excuses if people trying to rationalize downplay racism that are the most harmful.
  16. Of course, the obvious ones will say it's a "non issue" and people will always try to rationalize those things. As you said, it's been a discussion, plenty of non country artists ventured in Country for years. And it just took a black woman to win for them to finally put the rule in place. Anyway, no matter the change now, her album has won it. She sparkled such a loud conversation just for exploring. It's quite pathetic.
  17. Problematic? Based on that person's comment, doesn't that basically make you a rapist? And yet you're gloating that you enjoyed it? Weird. On topic : interesting.
  18. They worked together? So they weren't always at odds? Why did they fall off?
  19. Please.... She just sold 4M in one week with all her other albums still charting.
  20. So? Just sad how you are grasping. Nice detailed OP, it must have taken you some time and research. She has the record in the US. The sales' climate is also very different.
  21. Everything is a conspiracy theory for Nicki's fans. Pretending Cardi removed a song that she has no legal ground removing from streaming is just peak idiocy. No wonder their fave is so paranoid, those are the people she listens to.
