  1. It was reworked on February 2022, so I think we could infer the new vocals are actually recent!
  2. Who's gooning?
  3. I was just thinking this!
  4. No. But creating and posting on a thread that is an obvious bait for negativity around her wedding day is very, very weird.
  5. With a Tate McRae + Olivia Rodrigo combo? Brave!
  6. As much as I dislike Taylor, can't we just let her enjoy her day?

I really hope she remastered B'Day, but knowing her, it might just be the original masters with the songs she scattered around versions all in one package. Maybe a new cover. I'll stay hopeful, though.

It's not, it was written on the press release.
  9. I love her messy ass. I hope they eventually come back together, they looked great together and it seems as though there was never any bad blood between them. Also, he's one of her very few hot exes.

    1) Fair. 2) You're still missing the point of why I brought them up, I stated that very clearly in my last post. I brought them up because they built a career around singing and dancing onstage, I never talked about range or vocal capabilities. "Doing a few shows here and there and disappearing for two years" is an odd way to describe what she's doing and doesn't really account for her current lifestyle. The issue isn't whether she's Beyoncé, it's that no one, no matter how gifted, is immune to the cumulative wear of singing and dancing at that level for three decades. That doesn't automatically mean that she's lazy or that she doesn't care to ~serve *****~ anymore, it's reality, and she seems to have found a balance that allows her to keep performing at a very high level while maintaining a seemingly very healthy lifestyle. 3) This is where I'm really lost because "continuing to sing live even at her worst" is not the flex I assume you think it is. It then becomes a matter of you being able to flex that your fav ~sings live all the time~ instead of looking at things for what they are. Her voice changed, her body changed, and her stamina changed. She is aging. She openly said she no longer wants to push herself the way she did for Beychella and that she isn't trying to be who she was before. You're entitled not to love that approach, but she's been very clear about it. So, in my opinion, continuing to complain about it feels a bit redundant. 4) She doesn't need it, but the great thing is that she still does it and does it extremely well. She's selling out stadiums, so she's going to put on a stadium sized show. If she went the Adele route and did "mic and a light" shows on stadiums she wouldn't sell them out, because that's not her brand. Ironically, a Las Vegas residency would've been the perfect opportunity for a more stripped-back, vocal-focused show, and that's actually one of the many things I've disagreed with her on. Which brings me to my next point… 5) I don't think Beyoncé is perfect, and I'm not looking to justify everything she does, there have been many, many questionable decisions throughout this whole act rollout. But we can't dictate her career decisions, only she knows why she does certain things. I'd rather judge the end result than assume I know better than she does. And for me, the end result has still been phenomenal.

Fake outrage is saying you "won't settle for so little". Ridiculous. What are your credentials as a performer to insinuate that enjoying the CC tour is settling? Anyways, you're shifting the goalposts. My point wasn't whether or not it was completely live or 50/50. My point was that, for an artist nearly 30 years into a very physical career, the amount of live singing she still does is impressive compared with many of her peers. Whitney sadly passed before reaching the 30-year mark of her career, and unfortunately she wasn't as vocally consistent before passing either, which is exactly my point in saying Beyoncé is handling her career and her live/prerecorded ratio just right. I compared her to Madonna and Janet because they're the only pop icons with comparable careers built around both singing and dancing onstage. YOU, on the other hand, compared her to a local Eastern European artist who is 87. As for ticket prices, there are countless factors beyond vocal delivery: a longer show, a significantly larger stage, one of the biggest LED screens she's ever toured with, more dancers, more crew, more lighting, more automation, more costume changes, and a far more elaborate production overall. Whether that justifies the price is subjective, but reducing it to "she used prerecorded vocals" ignores everything else that went into the show.

I will never understand the disdain at Bey in this fanbase for managing her career the way she is today or for using pre recorded tracks throughout her show. Especially since she's not doing 100% prerecorded shows, it's most likely 50% live, 50% prerecorded. She's almost 30 years into her career. Most icons died (tragically, mind you) before their 30 year mark. Mariah's 30 year mark was 2020 and you can go look at what she was giving onstage in 2020 and come back and be ******* grateful. The only exceptions are Janet, who I suspect is doing way more prerecorded than Bey, and Madonna, who hit the 30 year mark in 2012 (and wasn't giving the live vocals Bey is giving today). I know we're mad there's no act iii yet, but let's not lose the plot. Bey is doing amazing.
  13. Joe Jonas, Shawn Mendes, Benson Boone and Nick Jonas in that order
  14. Yeah, I see what you're saying. I do agree with the complete idea.
