BTW, for everyone wondering where the notion that there was going to be more to the Vogue cover story in the print version came from, this was British Vogue’s caption on their IG post the day the cover story was announced / the day the online version was released: “See the full story in the new issue on newsstands…”

 

Looks like it’s since been edited to read “click the link in bio to read it in full.” But they definitely initially made it sound like the full story wasn’t online yet and would be released on June 21. Of course this was probably just wording that didn’t have much thought behind it / was used to make sure people bought the magazine. 

The vogue interview is probably one true disappointing thing of this era so far. It feels like a wasted opportunity for her to open up and us to learn about the album. I really thought Edward got full and access the story was going to be long and revealing, talking about her process, the sound, specific songs etc. But the article was just a tease  Hopefully we get to actually hear from her soon

I would have purchased the Vogue issue had it been a real interview or offered more personal insights into her process recording the album. Such iconic images, but feels kinda flat without her perspective.

The way she's genuinely surprised by the questions. I bet Bey would have a blast and we'd get genuinely great questions. 

Also, the average views of Hot Ones are like 5 mio, whereas big celebs can even go up till 20 mio views. Im sure if Bey did this, it would be a huge success.

TBH, once the dust settles on this project, I would love to see her take this vid, the one with her and the twins for "Savage Remix", and possibly her Grammy celebration night "Black Parade" one and post them on her tiktok.
