We saw Julius at a studio in LA for weeks though. There are clues her team were filming something so what was it? Ivy Park? it's possible sure but i dont buy it. Something is up and she is just taking her time with it which we all know with Bey the longer she takes, the better the result will be.

I just don’t see Beyoncé releasing an album without a a film of some sort to accompany it. It’s become apart of her brand at this point. If she made an entire film for BIK (which wasn’t intended) then I’m sure she already had a film in mind for her 7th studio album.

I mean think about it. She gets the acclaim and attention of the entire world and Netflix is a pretty sure bet to get those huge streaming numbers on Spotify also. It would be a way for her to push further than the classic visual albums she delivered so far. Eventually she will put some key part videos on Youtube but most of the work will remain on Netflix like she did with The Gift and Black is King. 

 

If i'm right, then i say who cares about a music video? LMAO!

I imagined the same thing at first too, I imagined the film would be about because of the Once & Future thing. I imagined at first that Zendaya would be playing a younger her with a real side job while working to make it in the music business. 

 

I, however, discarded the idea of it being her own life for two reasons : 

- the lyrics in BMS are clearly from another person's POV : "B is back and I sleep real good at night".

- Plus she did change things with the label but it wasn't a 9 to 5.

 

Either way, we'll see what she comes up with.

Then there's no visuals. There's nothing one can do about it. 

Have you guys noticed the two background vocals at 3:38. There's a normal that repeats "you won't break my soul" and then another starts with the "salvation, motivation" psalm to coincidence with the part where the main chorus goes to that part. It's haunting, it's sad the radio edit get rid of that and the choir and the bridge.

I think this will be an immersive, interactive online experience, perhaps with AR elements. Live streamed special concerts. That sort of thing.

You might be onto something here, she was looking into AR years ago post-LEM but never went forward with it. 
 

I think it could be a good idea, depending on the execution. But that still leaves the Netflix deal in limbo. 

Heard BMS three times on the radio today while at work. It feels so good hearing new music on heavy rotation in Aus again and definitely put a pep in my step for the rest of the day. The way they have cut the song though... omitting the best bits and keeping the worst. Goodbye ethereal bridge! Formation's clean radio edit was butchered as well.

Im just honestly shook at her stability in Germany. Its so stable there. Amazing!

 

Im really just hoping for Top8 at this point to not set myself up. In any case, this is such a huge feat for Bey (considering how longs shes been doing this already and the minimal effort so far)

 

I'm kinda burned out on the music film/visual album experience  Her visuals are always stunning (that goes without saying) but I would appreciate a more traditional album rollout.

 

I'm also too young to remember the album campaigns for IASF and 4 (I was in elementary/primary school) so all I know is the surprise drop/visual album Bey. Somebody better tell ol girl to switch it up FAST.

We are 1.5 weeks in without a MV for a lead single that came out 6 weeks before the album drops. She IS SWITCHING it up as we speak
