Why did her team set her up? Releasing the same day as Tinashe was brave heart2that's why there is zero hype it's over there in Popstar thread.

Throw the entire team away! So many other weeks to release where all eyes could have been on her!

Great timing, Afterbody just came on shuffle and remembered how much I liked that song.

Didn't know she was releasing an album tomorrow. Actually only know Afterbody lol

Don't know if I wanna listen to the songs she released already or wait for the album tomorrow. Thoughts?

Wait I fear. The singles a bit of a random mix of sounds, so it will probably all sound better in the context of the full album

Unsurprisingly, best R&B record I've heard in a VERY long time.

The way she manages to sound nostalgic and futuristic at the same time needs to be studied.

Some of these productions are otherwordly, Expensive & Difficult made me have a heart attack.

I think I need more time with it. It's fun but not an immediate front to back standout like Total Sellout was for me. First few songs and last few are pretty good but she lost me a little in the middle. B4U and Expensive & Difficult gagged me. E&D should have been the lead imo. One of her best songs.

Jae has absolutely floored me yet again omg, this is a masterclass in blending pop and R&B!

She's clearly here to stay duca

Oh this is sooooooo TASTY refreshing and stunning. I love how gritty the sounds is this era. She just gets it!

oooh this is EXCELLENT jonny

the new songs are just as good as the singles

The Distance, B4U and Expensive & Difficult are my faves, Soft Side is the only one that hasn't fully clicked

Can't wait to listen to this album, I know it will be good

Oh wow @ The Distance. That's a career highlight right here

Still listening to the album but rn the tracks are very consistent

Great album as expected! The way she even realized a skipless album would be too much for us to handle so threw us a bone by adding Soft Side. Generous queen

incredible cohesive project... oh god stephens your time is NOW

zendaya

SPECTACULAR debut... hope its not super parasocial of me to say how proud i am.

She is a prodigious student of 2000s pop, where others try to emulate it becomes gimmicky but she makes it feel so uniquely her yet so authentic to the time.

I could literally go on and on but what i really got from this was that she fills the girlicious shaped hole in my heart. heart2
