While I love Touch and Gameboy, this style of song is not even trendy anymore. What's even the point to keep doing the same thing over and over?

As for ranking, to me it's:

Beautiful Chaos > WILD > SIS

SIS has Touch but Debut is their worst single (within one of their EPs, it I count droplets it would be Internet Girl) and Tonight I might / My Way, both songs that drags the EP down. While I'm Pretty is cute and Touch is one of their best songs so far, I barely listen to the EP as a whole.

BC has no skips. MIA, Gameboy and Mean Girls are great album tracks.

WILD has Bel Air, not a fan of it. It should have been replaced with Unloveu, and the rest of the EP is good. Pink Up, Animal and Hootie Frutti is a very solid three punch.

Find it crazy that people prefer SIS to this. I love SIS but it's about as generic and uninspired as you can possibly get (minus Debut - I actually think that has substance).

Minus Animal and Bel Air these songs sound like they were made for Katseye only. They've finally found their sound. I like the other two but they were obviously safe options meant to smooth over the SIS stans.

We definitely need more touch and Gameboy! I believe their style is pure pop with some dance pop elements. After all, Touch & Gabriella are their most streamed songs. You guys are sleeping on touch.

Touch and Debut are iconic songs. Bel Air and That Way, on the other hand, are quite forgettable.

I'm really not understanding all the hate for this EP, I think that it's genuinely better than a lot of the stuff we've gotten from established pop stars recently, and is interesting and has a unique perspective. i'm also not understanding the slop allegations, I feel like the songs that label is assigned to (gnarly, pinky, hootie) are all fully formed songs that are light hearted and have some silly subliminal messages too.

it's a lot of grandstanding to make whether katseye is good a true or false statement and its like diva, this is fun pop music and it doesn't have to be anything more. it's like, i KNOW nobody is pressing play on most pop albums and expecting something groundbreaking, be so for real rn

WILD > BC > SIS

Hootie Fruity visuals are so good but the choreo is kinda lacking.

SIS is 100% their worst EP - I donʻt trust anyone ranking it highly MW and IP are terrible.

The non-singles of the EP are whatever but the singles are exactly what these girls needed to pop off once and for all. Gameboy, Touch, Debut, Mean Girls, etc are cute but got them nowhere. At least these flashy "brain rot" songs get their name out there AND are catchy af.

All 5 songs of BC were on heavy rotation for months last year for me but with Wild I don't see Hootie Puti or That Way staying for me for long. GODky up still their best song tho

The issue is their longevity in the industry. No one is going to take them seriously as artists post Katseye since no one respects the group. Yeah they're popular with their degenerate memeified music, but at the cost of legitimacy. Not everything is worth it.

the easy comparison to me is Zara Larsson. She's also gotten popular in the last 1-2 years but she isn't turning to meme music to maintain it. She's letting her performance skills keep her relevant. Katseye got popular performance wise from Gnarly and instead of diving into that, they went for meme music instead. They could have been more known as powerful performers instead of meme singers

No it's because they have a fanbase from being a hybe group. A slice of bread from a big kpop company will sell out tours and being Grammy nominated as an ARTIST not for the music, does not equal respect? Hello? BNA is always based on rising stars. And they're definitely popular, just not respected musically.
