Wasn't there an insider here? What is really going on with this group that Sofia went on hiatus right before a major tour was kicking off?

Reading through the thread and shocked at the amount of people that expected lower numbers. They've been in a massive rise since Beatiful Chaos. When the first ep dropped they were very niche but quickly rose to fame after all the way through the Grammys.

Hootie Frutti is objectively a bad song BUT it's a ******* BOP! Hit play listen and love it, don't look into its lyrical content expecting depth just get lost in the beat and slop. Pinky up and HF are the only listable tracks on this recent EP!

What's gross is what Hybe is doing to them. They have zero control over anything Katseye…. Their audience is full of 8-10 year olds…..

Someone like to them several times….. Gaga's music was good and most importantly it talked about real things. Pop music but real af. Pinky up, Hootie Frutti…are nothing of the sort. They are fun but lack any of Gaga's depth. Gnarly, on the other hand I will stand by. Lyrics are dumb as hell but it's was saying exactly that how, internet culture reduces everything to memes slang etc how were in a slop era.

Well obviously lol Some of the songs are catchy as hell but that doesn't make them any good, "Pinky up up, up, pinky up…pinky up up up" "Hootie fruitti fruit fruit fruiti…hoot hoot hootie….foodie" Like I'm bopping to HF even tough it's technically bad. They're not saying anything remotely interesting or important with this EP…it's 13 min long and filled with songs made of lyrics like the above.

Oh same but mostly during the BC era! The Manon stuff really broke my heart so a fan from afar lol. - Does it seem like this era may be rather short? I feel like BC era went on for a full year? Idk if this one will go that long?

No shade to the girls but they are at this level because Manon + the rest of them worked hard to get here! Let's not erase her contribution. Without the previous eras where all 6 were members the girls would not be here. Let's get that straight. Let's not pretend that her hiatus was a major promotional event for the group.

Yes, she posted that she was in the studio weeks before the hiatus. Also the Animal song was given to them back when they met Ed in 2025. She def recorded songs for the EP but who knows exactly which ones. This is all coming from a reliable insider (not me)

Manon did record vocals for this ep. She however did not film the video. She rehearsed for it but they filmed without her. (Streets saying that was the final nail…for her at least) She also shot for the album Cover but it was retooled after her hiatus. Apparently her version of the album was sent for pressing on vinyl, which means that it'll eventually leaks. (Although I feel like it would have leaked by now so idk)

How's the EP doing?!? As big as they seem to be, oddly enough they still feel somewhat niche. Maybe because I liked them during their come up and these still appear to be my fav indie artists lol

Hootie Fruity visuals are so good but the choreo is kinda lacking.

We definitely need more touch and Gameboy! I believe their style is pure pop with some dance pop elements. After all, Touch & Gabriella are their most streamed songs. You guys are sleeping on touch. BC > SIS > WILD Touch and Debut are iconic songs. Bel Air and That Way, on the other hand, are quite forgettable.
