Rosie O'Donnell talks about Michelle Trachtenberg's death
some people are calling Rosie out for openly talking about Michelle's struggles with addiction and saying it's disrespectful to her family but what good did staying silent do? addiction is an illness that thrives in shame and secrecy, there should always be way more awareness and compassion around it. this doesn't make me think any less of Michelle? and if anything maybe someone reading it will realize they need help or feel encouraged to get better

Rosie O'Donnell talks about Michelle Trachtenberg's death
My little sister was so obsessed with the movie "Harriet the Spy" growing up that she would spy on me with a little notebook and report on what I was doing. What was it like working with Michelle Trachtenberg, and how did her loss affect you? It was a tragedy. She was a real genius child who was able to memorize anything, pick up her lines, you could improvise with her, and she was connected and right there. She was so close to her mother, Lana, and her sister, who's a ballerina. They were a very loving family, and then, you know, she got into drugs and alcohol, I believe, and then I lost touch with her. In the last few years, when she was in pretty bad shape, she would call me and we would talk. I also called her mother to find out what was going on, and her mother told me what was happening, and how long it had been happening. We were supposed to see each other three or four times, and she just never showed up — sometimes at restaurants, other times at my house where we'd had someone prepare the whole meal. I would call her and go, "Honey, are you heading over?" and she'd go, "Was that today?" She was not in good shape. I didn't think that she would die. With most people suffering from addiction, their loved ones think that they'll survive it, but you can die from your addiction to drugs or alcohol, and it happens too often that it must be taken seriously. I wish I could have done more. I tried to help her as much as I could, but she was inaccessible toward the end, and it was tragic. It reminded me of Whitney Houston where everyone knew what was going on, but no one was willing to say something, and often because the people that are closest to you are employed by you when you're that big of an entity, and they don't want to lose their job or their money. With Whitney, I did say that to her people when she didn't show up [to "The Rosie O'Donnell Show"] for "Cinderella." It was supposed to be a whole hour with her and Brandy, and she didn't show up just a few minutes before the show went live. I said to them after the show, "This is her legacy, and if she dies it's on your watch." It's horrible and addiction has hit my family, too. I have a daughter who's addicted. She's been sober a year and a half and she's currently in prison, sadly, but she was born addicted to drugs and never really had a fair shake. It's very serious and there are millions of families in America going through the same thing. https://variety.com/2026/theater/features/rosie-o-donnell-interview-help-michelle-trachtenberg-trump-vendetta-robert-f-kennedy-jr-autism-1236811842/

oh wow look at Godseye top 10 cd sales with a 2 year old EP SIS is prob eligible for Gold atp and Beautiful Chaos Platinum why aren't they updating their certs- Michelle Branch - 'Everywhere and Back Again'
- Dirrty vs We Can't Stop
- KATSEYE - "Animal"
that makes sense, I just saw the playlist the user shared to tease it as well and are they just the lyrics (cuz of the Kesha and Gaga song titles since we know the "wild like an animal, nobody knows you're out of control" bit) or is it sonically reminiscent of Toxic? guess we'll have to wait to hear it, they need to start the rollout already! glad the girls got to have a lil break now though- Peggy Gou & Ayra Starr - "Wo, Man"
- Dove Cameron's 'Genie In A Bottle' almost has the same YT views as Xtina
- KATSEYE - "Animal"
oh why I thought Gabriela dropped the week before the EP mess so they should start teasing it at some point this week going by previous releases right? and why I kinda feel that Juice/Tea song won't be a part of it for some reason, I'm guessing Hootie Frutti + 2 other new ones- KATSEYE - "Animal"
better than this? have you heard it? @durrss do you have any idea how soon is soon? I wonder if its dropping a week before the EP like Gabriela last year?- KATSEYE - "Animal"
my understanding is that she ultimately realized it isn't the right fit for her (like the overall workload since the team apparently did a lot to accommodate her + someone she had issues with getting promoted & possibly having more control over the group might've been the last straw) but I guess she's still under contract so it's not like she can just peace out? idk why they've been delaying the announcement, if it's because they still hope she'll change her mind (which seems unlikely esp after her friends were clowning the official IG account for wishing her a happy bday) or to avoid alienating fans or w/e- KATSEYE - "Animal"
a member from that forum has shared various info about them over the past year the way ppl suddenly gonna switch on Pinky Up being the better track/sound... I haven't listened to Sienna Spiro's new album but Omer did most of it too I think.. the other credited ppl def give Ed album sessions though- *NSYNC has a Platinum top 40 hit this decade. Surprised?
*NSYNC's first single since 2002, "Better Place," brought the group back to the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time since that year. The track, released in September 2023, peaked at No. 25 becoming their 11th top 40 entry on the Hot 100 and has since been RIAA Certified Platinum. The release did not include a music video with the members nor any promotional performances but was featured on the soundtrack of Trolls 3. For comparison, this is a rare feat for a y2k boyband.- UPDATE: Halsey vs Fantano: Fantano drags Halsey's past making out with underage fans
not him still milking this a streamer / internet personality through and through- Even Madonna can still debut at #1, why can't Katy Perry?
Madonna has always had a bigger and more loyal fanbase, Katy always felt a bit more GP reliant in a way so when new hits don't come it's not as easy to grab as much attention for the whole project ig- Britney responds to TMZ article about "erratic driving incident", mentions Xtina
she looks so cute in the recent candids but yes drag those pigs at TMZ harder next time! also I don't really think that was necessarily a negative Xtina namedrop, but it is interesting she's seemingly still the first person Britney thinks of to make the correlation. unless something else truly bad happened between them that we don't know of I really believe them reconnecting would be a very positive thing for her but oh well- Kathy Griffin Undebuts 22yo boyfriend, drags ageists and sexists
she's such a troll- KATSEYE - "Animal"
makes me sad about Manon and it's kinda strange cuz the way she's been moving since the hiatus you'd think she's totally in the right in that situation also funny they had Charli as the previous 2nd single writer and now Ed, speaking of which I'm glad they seem to get a lot of love from their peers and ppl in the industry (as evidenced by the 2 Grammy noms too of course) - KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS film coming to cinemas worldwide in August
