literally can't stop listening to this . i was just confused at some of the lyrics earlier and wondered if Anyone else has been thinking same , but when she sings " this one's gonna teach my ex a lesson / this one's gonna get my boyfriend's attention " why is she wanting to teach her ex a lesson if she already has a Boyfriend ? it throws me off because she can't feel very good about her current boyfriend if she's still hung up on teaching her ex a lesson . does anyone know how long she was single for after the break-up before getting the new Boyfriend ? the lyrics make it sound like she jumped to this new relationship pretty quickly and isnt fully over her Ex .

I think they nailed it and may have found their identity: a cohesive aesthetic that clicks (trendy 00s looks with British flair), and a sound that doesn't rely too much on their references like the criticism they got for borderlining on throwback tribute girl group
