I think they relatively did well compared that to their last performance on the show. I like the fact that they didn't sacrificed their vocals just to dance and like look cute on camera. They were trying to make sure they would still be able to sing live bc at the end of the day they understood that's their job.

People who emotes well on stage are those who notoriously lip syncs and who relied on playback most of the time.

Yeah I agree this was definitely a step up and I give them all the props for singing live, some of other girls could never! I just don't think their performance level is matching the vocal talent, and I don't even think they care to. I guess it stood out to me more because the sound was also off so then there really wasn't anything that they excelled at here and I feel the gp needs something more to fully connect with them but I hope they keep doing performances for the song, maybe they were in over their heads with this one

100% agree. I do love their RnB songs but they would have been stuck in the same loop forever if they didn't switch it up. And while sounding nothing like their songs before, Leak it still feels like a natural progression for a wider audience and bigger things to come. They just need to give their core fanbase some RnB moments on the upcoming album and everybody will be happy

The song and video is THE song and video of the year. I get chills watching this video. This is what you call synchronicity. When everything is aligned and in harmony. The beauty, the body, the hit song, the choreography, the amazing concept and art direction. I fear this is FLO's breakout record!!!!

I see people mentioning Tate McCray and PCD. And I see that. But the original inspiration is clearly Michael Jackson's "Dangerous" era sound, blended with 2007 Timbaland.

I also can appreciate the feedback about the second hook being bigger than the third. But I believe what makes the second hook pop is when one them sings the harmony as a ad lib at 1:29 "get his attention" that small little nuance elevates the hook. I believe it was purposefully placed only there to make the listener want repeat the song. This is an amazing song. I'm addicted like crack.
